19M: I Used to Have Normal Ejaculation Control, Now I’m Experiencing Severe PE — What Changed?

I'm 19, 6 feet tall, around 85 kg, and physically active. I'm posting because I genuinely want to understand what happened to my sexual health.

When I first got into a relationship with my ex-girlfriend, my sexual performance was completely normal. I had good erections, could last a long time, and most importantly, I had a strong sense of control over when I wanted to ejaculate. We had sex regularly for quite a while, and I never considered myself to have a sexual problem.

Later, we stopped having sex for a long period and became physically distant. During that time, I also stopped normal masturbation. I still watched porn, but sometimes I would masturbate by rubbing against a pillow or another surface rather than using a normal technique. Eventually, my girlfriend and I got back together and started having sex again.

That's when I noticed a huge difference. I still wanted her and genuinely wanted to have sex, but my body wasn't responding the way it used to. At first I thought it was simply because we hadn't had sex for a long time, so I told her that too.

But even masturbation didn't feel the same anymore. During sex, my arousal felt extremely intense and I felt like I had almost zero control over ejaculation. One time I ejaculated around 4 seconds after penetration. I could see the disappointment on her face, and after that I couldn't get my erection back.

That experience seriously affected my confidence. I started worrying about whether I would get hard, whether I would last, and whether I would disappoint her. Eventually I started avoiding meeting her because I was so insecure, and our relationship ended.

I've also tried Viagra a few times. At first it seemed to help with getting an erection, but it didn't solve the main problem. Even when I could get hard, I still had extremely strong sensations and almost no control over ejaculation.

I've tried Kegels, gym/exercise, changing my masturbation habits, and various things I've found online, but nothing has really fixed it.

Now, if I receive sexual stimulation, I can sometimes ejaculate in under 10 seconds. With oral stimulation, I may last around 10–15 seconds at most.

Another strange thing is what happens mentally after ejaculation. Sometimes I suddenly feel extremely irritated, regretful, or even start disliking the girl I was just attracted to. I can think, "Why did I do this?" or feel like I completely lost interest. I don't know if this is related to anxiety, arousal, porn, hormones, or something else.

My masturbation habits are also unusual now. I don't really get much pleasure from normal masturbation. I usually use a very tight grip and repetitive rubbing, and sometimes I don't feel much sensation at all.

What confuses me most is that I didn't always have this problem. I previously had good erections, good stamina, and good ejaculation control. Now I feel like I have almost no control, and sometimes I also struggle to maintain an erection when anxiety kicks in.

I'm only 19, and this has already affected my confidence, relationships, and willingness to have sex.

So I'm trying to understand what could be happening.

Could this be premature ejaculation? Could performance anxiety be causing or worsening it? Could my masturbation habits or porn consumption have affected my arousal/sensitivity? Could there be a pelvic-floor or physical issue? Or could something else be going on?

If anyone has experienced something similar — especially someone who used to have normal sexual control and then developed very rapid ejaculation and/or erection problems — I'd really appreciate hearing what you eventually discovered and what actually helped.

I'm not looking for a miracle supplement or random internet cure. I want to understand the problem properly and figure out what I should research or whether I should see a urologist/sexual-health doctor.

Any serious advice or personal experience would be appreciated.

19M: I Used to Have Normal Ejaculation Control, Now I’m Experiencing Severe PE — What Changed?

I used to have good sexual control, but now I ejaculate extremely quickly and also struggle with erections — what is happening?

I'm 19 years old, born in 2007. I'm around 6 feet tall and weigh about 85 kg. I'm physically active, go to the gym, and overall I'm reasonably confident about my appearance.

But I've been dealing with a sexual problem that has seriously affected my confidence, and I genuinely don't understand what happened.

When I was with my previous girlfriend and we first started having sex, everything was completely fine. My timing was actually very good. I could last for a long time and, more importantly, I felt like I had complete control over when I would ejaculate. I could basically decide when I wanted to finish and when I didn't.

We had sex regularly for quite some time, and I never really thought there was anything wrong with me.

Then we stopped having sex for a long period of time, and eventually we became physically distant.

During that period, I also stopped masturbating normally. I still watched porn, but instead of regular masturbation, I sometimes rubbed my penis against a pillow or another comfortable surface until I ejaculated. Sometimes I would do this when I was extremely aroused and felt like I was reaching a very intense level of sexual excitement.

Eventually, my girlfriend and I got back together and started trying to have sex again.

That's when I noticed that something had changed.

It didn't feel anything like it used to.

At first, I thought maybe it was simply because we hadn't had sex for a long time. I even told her that, and honestly, I believed that was probably the reason.

But even when I tried masturbating, I noticed that I wasn't really getting the same sensation anymore.

When we met again, I still wanted to have sex with her. It wasn't a situation where I had lost attraction or didn't want her. I genuinely wanted to have sex and be close to her.

The problem was that my body wasn't cooperating.

I started focusing much more on foreplay because I was worried about what would happen once we actually had intercourse.

On one occasion, I ejaculated within around four seconds of penetration. I could see the disappointment on her face, and that completely destroyed my confidence.

After that, I couldn't get my erection back.

That experience got stuck in my head.

I started becoming extremely anxious and insecure about sex. I began thinking about whether I would be able to get hard, how long I would last, whether I would disappoint her, etc.

I also tried Viagra several times. Initially, I felt that it helped somewhat with getting an erection, but eventually it didn't seem to solve the actual problem. Even when I could get an erection, my sensitivity/arousal was so intense that I felt like I had almost no control over ejaculation.

At this point, I started trying everything I could think of.

I've been going to the gym consistently. I'm physically active and reasonably strong. I've tried Kegel exercises and other exercises that I found online. I've tried changing my masturbation habits.

But nothing seems to have brought back the control I used to have.

The problem has now become much worse psychologically because I lost a lot of confidence.

Eventually, I became so worried about sex that I started avoiding meeting my girlfriend, and our relationship eventually ended.

I'm still very insecure about this.

Right now, if I have sexual stimulation, I can sometimes ejaculate in under 10 seconds. Even with oral stimulation, I may last around 10–15 seconds at most.

What confuses me even more is what happens afterward.

After ejaculation, I sometimes experience a very strong negative emotional reaction. My mind suddenly switches from being extremely aroused to feeling irritated, regretful, or even disgusted with the situation. I can suddenly think, "Why did I do this?" or feel like I don't even want to be with the person anymore.

I don't know whether that's related to the physical problem, anxiety, porn, the way I've been masturbating, or something else.

My masturbation habits have also become unusual. I don't really masturbate in the conventional way anymore. I generally use a very tight grip and repetitive rubbing rather than normal strokes, and sometimes I don't even feel much pleasure from masturbation.

I've tried Kegels, exercise, changing my habits, and other things I've found online, but I'm still stuck.

What confuses me the most is that I didn't always have this problem.

I used to have good erections, good stamina, and a strong sense of control over ejaculation. Now I feel like I have almost no control, and sometimes I also struggle to maintain an erection after ejaculating quickly or after becoming anxious.

I'm only 19, and this has already affected my confidence, relationships, and willingness to have sex.

So I'm trying to understand what could actually be happening.

Could this be premature ejaculation? Could it be related to anxiety or performance anxiety? Could my masturbation habits or porn consumption have changed my sensitivity/arousal? Could there be some physical or pelvic-floor issue? Or is it possible that the long period without sex somehow contributed to this?

If anyone has experienced something similar — especially someone who used to have normal sexual control and then suddenly developed extremely rapid ejaculation and/or erection problems — I'd really appreciate hearing what you eventually found out.

I'm not looking for a miracle cure or some random supplement. I genuinely want to understand the problem and figure out what I should research or whether I should see a urologist/sexual-health doctor.

Any serious advice or personal experience would be appreciated.

Thanks, guys.

19-year-old learning Data Analytics — I need some honest career advice

Hey everyone,

I'm 19 years old and currently learning Data Analytics through PW (Physics Wallah). I'm still at the beginning of my journey, and before I invest the next 6–12 months into this career, I wanted to hear from people who are already working in the field.

I have a few questions:

  • Is Data Analytics still a good career to get into in 2026?
  • If you were starting from scratch today, what would you learn first?
  • What skills helped you land your first job?
  • Are online courses enough, or should I focus more on projects and building a portfolio?
  • What mistakes should beginners avoid?

I'm not looking for motivation or false hope—I genuinely want honest advice, even if it's critical. If you were in my position, what roadmap would you follow?

Thanks in advance. I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to share their experience.
