Is it just me, or did there come a point in life where you thought you were going to die soon without a reason?

When I was in my second year of high school, I became really depressed, and for some reason, I thought that I wouldn't finish high school and would die. Now I live in Sweden, and I am in no danger. I've never tried to hurt myself, but I just had this belief that I was going to die, and for some reason, it was comforting. It's been almost 4 years after finishing high school, and I still haven't recovered from the shock of still being alive. I just can't believe it. Why am I still here? I haven't done anything but slepping and being tierd and now I finished my system development deplomia something that I don't like, and it just increases my feeling that I should have died and not finished high school (not that I liked it ; I'd rather have died than go back there).

I can't help but feel emotionally sad for another person on Reddit whom I've never even met.

Today, after an online meeting, I had nothing to do, and while reading through a thread, I came across a guy by the name of Renderedperson. After that, I spent about six hours reading his comments and threads, trying to understand him and get to know his story. I just feel so incredibly sad for everything he has gone through, and I really hope that when he gets reunited with his kids, they still love him and that he gets the happy ending he deserves. (I also hope his ex and her family burn for eternity.)

I think the reason I feel like this is because I see a part of myself in him. I can't stop thinking about a man I've never even met. I can't think properly after reading everything you've been through, man. I can't tell you that you will ever get justice, or that I can help you when we live on separate continents, but your story made me pray for you when I don't even pray for myself.

If there is a heaven or a second lifetime, I hope we can meet. Let's hug, and you can vent to me about all your problems. Sadly, that's all I can do listen and feel sad for you. I'm sorry.
