Intimate or weird

Is sharing/recommending perfumes with a male coworker an intimate thing, or am I reading too much into it?

Hey all, my girlfriend [35F] recently told me that she and a male coworker share perfume/fragrance Instagram pages and recommend fragrances to each other.

Normally, I probably wouldn't think much of that on its own, but there have been a few other things that have made me suspicious that there could be an emotional affair or some kind of attraction developing.

I've noticed she's started putting a lot more effort into her appearance on days when she's working with him. I've also found out that she hasn't always been truthful with me about when they're on shift together. They message each other quite a lot on Instagram as well, and I've noticed her taking her phone into the bathroom and spending time in there.

Recently, I brought up my concerns with her without directly accusing her of cheating. She reassured me that there was nothing going on and said they mostly just send each other cat videos, perfume/fragrance stuff, etc.

There was also a work party coming up with an animal theme. She wanted to go as a leopard and bought some very tight, figure-hugging pants along with quite a few other things for the costume. When I was shopping with her, there were a couple of moments where she seemed bothered by me being there, and it looked like she was considering buying two of certain things, like masks. It made me wonder whether she and this coworker had planned some kind of matching costume, although I obviously can't know that for sure.

The morning of the party, I brought up my concerns again. She then decided not to go to the party at all, which I found a little strange given how much effort and money she'd already put into the costume.

The perfume thing particularly sticks in my mind because fragrance can feel quite personal. You're talking about how someone smells, what scents suit them, what you find attractive, etc. But I also realise that people can just be really into fragrances and share recommendations with friends without it meaning anything romantic.

So I'm curious what other people think: is sharing and recommending perfumes/fragrances with a coworker potentially an intimate or flirty thing, especially alongside the other behaviour? Or am I giving the perfume aspect too much significance?

I'm less concerned about the perfume recommendations in isolation and more about the combination of that, the frequent Instagram messaging, increased effort with her appearance, and not being truthful about when they're working together.

Is it weird or intimate?

Hey all, my [35F] girlfriend has recently told me about a male coworker and her sharing perfume instagrams, i do think sh4 might be having an emotional affair as she had started to put alot more effort into her apperance when working with him. Also found out she was not truthfull and hiding when they were on shift together. She also messages him on instagram alot and hid3s in th3 bathroom, most recently when i expressed my concerns and asjed her about it not accusing her in any way she reassured me and said they just s4nd each other cat vids and perfumes etc..however she had a work party which was animal themed and she wanyed to go as a leopard which she bought very tight hugging pqnts for and spent alot on other items for it..when i was shopping with her she seemed to be bothered and looked as if she wanted to get two of some things like masks etc making me think he was going to dress in the same theme. When i mentioned my concerns the morning of she ended up not going which was weird tbh....with the perfumes is it an intimate thing to share and reccomend fragrances what do you think?

Biphasic reaction (alpha-gal syndrome) MMA

I had a biphasic reaction just recently, i have Alpha gal syndrome and i hadn't had a reaction like this at all before i was only diagnosed 4 months ago so it was a new and scary experience. I had a churning gut feeling that was hanging around and thought not much of it but it was a bit weird, for a few hours stayed dull and consistent and then all of a sudden it seemed to build and build rapidly.. like i felt like i had been spiked and was about to OD my thoughts went haywire thinking im about to die "did i ingest a deathly amount of drugs" all this at once and then it subsided..the next day the feeling was there again and i was so scared all day that it was going to build again..not untill the evening after it felt lik3 it had gobe a bit it came back again hard..i was so terrified i started crying i didnt know if i needed my epi because everyone shows you 'how' to us3 it but doesnt h3lp explain what feelings are indicators as i dont want to use it if i am unsure..this has now given me a scale i can go off so i know next time that i should just use it.

Has anyone els had something similar?
