2015 limited to 2024 Limited

My 2015 has been totaled. I see this 2024 limited for sale. Has this black out package. I kinda like it. Only thing I don’t like is it has a panoramic sun roof. I’ve heard sun roofs are the worst thing a car can have because they inevitably leak.

Anyways, I’ve had the 2015 for 10 years. I’m the second owner. I bought out a 1 year lease. I’ve loved it and it’s treated me well. Only had to spend a couple hundred here or there every couple years on average. I think I got lucky, really no major problems at all.

That said, as I look up the 2024, I see common issues with the battery randomly draining to 0, electrical problems, and potential transmission issues. And then on 1 site I see it’s rated #10 in the top 10 best mid size SUV of 2024, on another site it doesn’t crack the top 10.

I feel like, sexy as they are, Jeeps are not the most reliable. Should I pass on this 2024? Or is 2024 a good year?

Stream deck + Knobs - are they a gimmick?

I use a stream deck for workflow optimization at work and was thinking about getting one for home as well. The + with the knobs that just came out. Is it worth it for the higher price tag? Kinda seems like a gimmick to me that isn’t really needed.

I’ve been a hardcore apple person for a long time now. iPads, iPhones, MacBooks, iMacs, Mac minis….

For many months now, very rarely, and very randomly, my Mac mini will start to play music. Spotify or Apple Music. Different times of day. It just happened when I stood up, clicked go to sleep, and as it did, it played music.

One night the computer woke me up because music played.

It’s just random. Any ideas? It’s so annoying….
