Hey everyone I currently have paroxysmal atach that comes about once every one or two months and wenkebach both were caught on an ecg. One of the wenckebaxh episodes was right after waking up from sleep my hr was 55 which is normal for me laying down. The second episode the EP is unsure if it’s true wenckebaxh but that was during the middle of the day laying down in bed at a 70 bpm hr. I used to be an athlete and my natural vagal tone is quite high (doctors have noted “prominent sinus arrhythmia”.
I am scheduled for a colonoscopy where they will be using propofol. Is that generally safe for someone with these issues?
Hey everyone, got this speed master from an uncle a few days ago, he’s had it for at least 25-30 years. Was wondering if anyone would be able to take a look and check authenticity - I know it’s impossible to figure out definitively if something is authentic or not but wanted to see if this is a very bad fake or not. Thank you!

Hey everyone I’ve had IgAN for about two to three years at this point. Usually my baseline is about 100mg/g ACR and 250 mg/g PCR (albumin 40% of total protein). Yesterday I got a test done and it showed lower ACR of 78 mg/g but a PCR of 380 mg/g (albumin is 20% of total protein).
Has anyone else had varying percentages like this where sometimes albumin only makes up a surprisingly small portion of proteinruia? Could this be a measurement error as well and my albumin is higher or my real protein is lower?
Thank you so much.
Hey everyone I have to get a surgery for something else unrelated and was wondering if the surgery and the healing process associated with that could cause a flare up in my IgAN? I get macroscopic flare ups when I get sick so a little concerned about this surgery. Would love to hear everyone else’s perspectives or experiences with surgery with this disease
Anyone here have IgAN and IBD? I have IgAN for a few years now but doctors are suspecting IBD as well. Was wondering if anyone else has any experience with this?
Hey everyone I’m pretty new to this: for some history, I’ve dealt with a pretty wide range of health conditions with my heart, kidneys, and many other internal organs. Most of my issues have been either congenital (present at birth) or autoimmune.
For the past three years, I’ve had blood in my stool (just a tiny bit like streaks in the stool) and when wiping but honestly never really thought much of it. I mentioned it to my doctor this week and he did an exam and said there were no hemorrhoids but he saw “raw, irritated rectal mucosa without hemorrhoids or tears. “ he mentioned UC and crohns as likely possibilities. I am getting a colonoscopy later this week to confirm or rule out. I wanted to see what others people experience with UC was? Tbh I never noticed any pain or anything other than a tiny bit of blood, so it’s a little shocking to me that this could be IBD.

Hey everyone,
Has anyone ever had any issues with low potassium? Had a flare up a few days ago and they found that I had really low potassium values. I know typically ckd causes high potassium so was wondering if anyone had any experiences.
Hi everyone! Igan patient here had it for about three years so far. I get flare ups of gross hematuria - currently having a minor stuffy nose rn and am seeing the blood in urine.
I pretty consistently get the visible cola colored urine whenever I get an URI and was wondering how often you guys get those? And how long do they usually last?
I usually just wait it out and make sure to drink water which my neph recommended but was wondering. How do you guys deal with them?
Hey everyone I recently got an echo done and it noted an elevated RVSP. I saw it could be linked to PH and wanted to get your thoughts. Also I got the echo done and it was in the morning (so I hadn’t rly drank water since the night before) and I was also pretty anxious so my heart was beating really fast during the exam. Could that affect this at all?
