Im getting my motorcycle endorsement in 2 weeks, and im starting to pick out gear. O would like full gear (over pants, gloves, and jacket) just to play it safe. My sister who used to ride is insistent i need a shoei helmet, but they start at almost $500. While I dont know much, I do know that it needs to be DOT certified. What helmets do you reccomend? Ideally, I want a modular helmet, with shades built in. I was anticipating about $500 for the helmet. Is that unrealistic?

Jackets and pants:

I have no idea what to look for with jackets or pants. What kind of certification does it need?

Gloves:

I know gloves need palm sliders. Is there anything else important?

I plan to get a sports bike as my first. Either a ninja 400, kawasaki z400, or a Honda cb500f. Im leaning towards the cb500f if I can find one under $4500 used. Otherwise, ill get a used ninja 400. Thanks for reccomendations and commentz!

I have an ender 5 with a btt octopus v1.1, and ebb36. Upgrades are klipper, mercury one(dragon hf and orbiter 2.0), triple Z, and stealthburner. I on the octopus I have 3 extra stepper drivers available. I hate to not utilize the board to its fullest extent. So, what would be the best mmu to use the 3 extra stepper spots, while not interrupting the extruder?

Ive looked at box turtle, but that requires 4 stepper. I have started looking at ercf, but i wanted to see opinions too.

Sidebar: I will either use this to do multicolor (3 different colors) or I will do multicolor and one petg lane for supports.
