Lifeweaver had a custom Petal Platform in the recent comic, but that has seemingly been omitted in-game. That either means a. this isn’t an Ultra skin b. they didn’t give him a custom petal platform despite it being $35 or c. the trailer had a mistake.

We’ll have to see.

Number 1 and 3 are my fave.

I’m super excited for Nightcrawler (regardless of his role),so I thought it’d be fun to make a little concept kit for him.

My intention was to create a dive support whose strengths lie in assisting his own divers rather than just outright being able to solo people like Jeff 1.0, but still lethal. But I wanted to make sure he wouldn’t be useless when in his own team’s backline. I tried my best with the numbers but they are still probably wonky lol.

The lore justification for his abilities is that he is being divinely empowered to help in his fight against Gorr.

** Primary: Hopesword **
- First two strikes: 20 damage each, 0.3 second attack rate.
- Third strike: 30 damage, 50 direct healing and 20 AOE healing within 5 meters, 0.5s attack rate. Max range of 30 meters.
- Like he has his two regular swords in his hands and holding the Hopesword with his tail. Could be cool looking.

** Ability 1: Brimstone Blink **
- Straight forward, similar to Tracer’s Blink from Overwatch, but omnidirectional.
- 6 meters teleport with 3 charges, 8 second CD each.
- Very small hitbox when teleporting on to an enemy. The grounding effect is maybe iffy, could just be 10 extra damage or something.

** Ability 2: BAMF Portal **
- The BAMF Buddy heals nearby allies within 7 meters for 30 HPS for 10 seconds.
- Pressing the ability within 10 seconds creates a Brimstone Portal. Nightcrawler and his team can interact with either to be teleported to the other side (can only be used once though). 5 second duration
- 15 second CD once the ability ends.
- Nightcrawler also gains 20% movement speed until Brimstone Portal is placed
- A mix between Mizuki’s katashiro return from Overwatch and Dr Strange’s portal (albeit far less strong). You can use it to quickly save allies by using Brimstone Blink to them and then opening the portal, or use it to setup engages/disengages with your divers.

** Ability Three: Benediction **
- Instantly heal your targeted ally for 50 HPS, cleansing them and preventing further negative effects/CC for 3 seconds.
- 10 second cooldown
- (a bit of a throw away ability imo, but would be very strong in some situations).

** Passive: Nightcrawling **
- Wall climbing. Straightforward.

** Ultimate: Divine Impalement **
- Summon 3 massive Hopeswords from above that slam into the ground. Enemies caught within 3 meters are rooted for 1 second. Allies within 6 meters are healed for 75 HPS, and the AOEs can overlap for 30% healing (max of 115 HPS).
- Using Brimstone Blink teleports the farthest Hopesword to your new location, rooting any enemy caught within again.
- 8 second duration
- Spread of the ult can be altered depending on distance to the ground and where you are looking (like Gambit’s AOE card abilities).

** Team-Up Ability 1: Hellish Exchange (Magik) **
- Base: Benediction now attaches a Limbo demon on to your ally, dealing damage to nearby foes for its duration.
- Enhanced: Magik’s demons are replaced with a BAMF Buddy, now additionally healing allies for 20 HPS in the AOE. Benediction also heals Nightcrawler for 25 HP when used.

** Team-Up Ability 2: Blinded by Faith (Daredevil) **
- Base: Gain a new ability. Activating releases a Brimstone cloud around you that blinds enemies for 1.5 seconds. 15 second CD.
- Enhanced: BAMF Portal now blinds nearby enemies upon activation as well.

** Team-Up Anchor 1: Mother Mystique (Rogue) **
- Base: Ability Absorption teleports you to the location instead of dashing.
- Enhanced: 5 extra meters of distance and 5 seconds off the CD

**Team-Up Anchor 2: Twin Teleporters (White Fox)**
- Base: After using Spirit Sanctuary, press the ability again within 3 seconds to teleport back to your starting location (30 second CD).
- Enhanced: Spectral Surge cleanses negative effects.

I saw these concept photos for Nightcrawler in the new X-Men Midnight series by R.B Silva, and loved it. If they are going to do a Nightcrawler vs Gorr plotline for the next season, I’d love it if this was his base design (kinda like how Daredevil’s base design was altered to be more Kun-lun inspired to fit the seasonal theme).

I was never the biggest fan of his classic comic look, so something like this would be sooo cool.

At the very least, this type of outfit should be a skin.
