I couldn’t believe it, green shirt guy is sitting behind commentary tonight.

Even I could see a mile away that it wasn’t happening...

has anyone ever attempted to do a giant supercut of Halloween 1 (1978) & 2 (1981) together with all the deleted and extended scenes that come with both films?

I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to reach out to Dr.Sapirstein? I wanted to get his permission on something... After seeing his rocky horror 50th anniversary edit (which i really enjoyed) i had the idea and currently in the midst of making a custom pre-show/post-show experience around it to emulate a night at the drive-in back in '75 when the movie came out but at home, without touching a frame of his cut.

Obviously i would give him full credit for his cut portion of it, then credit myself for everything outside of it. I figured it would be proper etiquette to ask him and share it with him to make sure he's cool with me releasing/sharing the package featuring his edit to the public.

Die hard is an amazing movie, I don’t need to tell you that!

But the one issue that I think everyone can agree on is the character of Deputy Chief Robinson. Nuff said lol.

He’s what you might call a textbook “idiot plot” device. 😆

removing him would for the most part be easy and still make the movie flow and doesn’t hurt the plot.

the only potential challenge you’d maybe run into is that Robinson is frequently standing right next to Al Powell during their radio conversations with McClane. Cutting Robinson out completely would require some clever audio mixing, subtle re-framing, or replacing overlapping dialogue so that Powell's conversations with McClane feel natural.

other than that, removing him would improve the film immensely 😂

does anyone here happen to have this fan edit in question that they would like to dm me a link to?

does anyone here happen to have this edit?

any chance someone could dm it to me? I would appreciate it

I'm looking for 2 edits from bobson dugnutt... jackass 1.5 & the lost reels volume 1 & 2. If anyone has one or both and are willing to dm me a link. I'd be much appreciative!

Has anyone taken halloween 1978 and added in the ‘78 flashback scenes from Halloween kills to make it a whole new kind of film?

Just wanted to take the time to give a massive shout out to all faneditors here, there, and everywhere for what you do!

I give you all props for taking time out of your day to create and do the things a lot of studios just won’t spend the money to do.

Now obviously not all edits are perfect, some might be better than others, and people have their thoughts and opinions. But in the end, it’s the thought and dedication that counts.

Ever since I discovered fanedits a few years back, it’s taken my movie watching experience to another level. And there have been edits that I now watch over the originals.

Keep being you and keep being creative 🤘🏻
