This game is about defeating facism, wich is the core issue of this game. Non the less there are many social facist and even some bourgeois facists here unironically promoting their facistic views. We are not going to be taken seriously as an anti facist subreddit if we continue to supporta and accept social facists.
To be more specific, how mad/tyranical was he really? He defently was incompetent/unable to rule. But afaik he got charachter assasinated because he was hated by the Jew(jewish revol), Christians( Jewish revolt and possible crucifications), Senatorial class (he raised their taxes and spent it on the pleb), the flavians (they portrayed him bad to justify themself).

In WW1 austria and russia had major beef over balkan supremacy. Austria wanted Stability and supress nationalism. Mranehile Russia wanted slavic allies as a foothold in the balkans, because they saw it as necesarry buffer for Constantinople/the straights.
But in this world Russia has wayyyyy more important priorities and the last they want is to antoganize a major power wich adds potentially millions of soldiers to their front. Especially considering that Austria and Germany are astranged. It seems like a 5 IQ move for Russia to oppose Austria/support balkan league because it would just be the repeat of 1914 just while being weaker.
Meanwhile Austria is quite busy in Italy, the balkans, internally and the threat of syndicalism in the west. I totally see them fighting aggainst the Syndies, especially if they won in Italy or the war is still ongoing. So for Austria it also makes little sense to add an additional enemy to they list. Especially one who could potentially support the balkan pact via black sea (not sure about that tbh).
Also lets say Germany looses/ is loosing. Even in this case it is nether in Austrias or Russias interest to oppose each other. They both need an ally aggainst the red menance. Yes the balkan issue Remains. But without Germany as alternative Partner Austria would swallow the pill of Russian dominance there. And Russia would be more than willing to dominate and puppet the balkans/straight, once victorious.
