Jordison's stick is in the medium subgroup, with a length of 16" and the 14 mm (.551") diameter of a 5A. Its full, round bead tip provides a loud, focused attack and sits on a slim tapered neck that gives the stick a light feel and a quick response. List price: $15.25.

Description of the "Riki Sports Palace" from Wrestling World Magazine 1963

Aside from being mortgaged and remortgaged to the hilt, there is is a reason why this place left massive debts...

"High on a knoll, overlooking the Shibuya Station in Tokyo is the “House That Riki Built.” Its name is “Riki Sports Palace.” The number of activities going on under one roof is amazing.
In the basement there is an air conditioned bowling alley and snack bar. Just upstairs is the Riki Toroko, or Turkish bath. Above the steam room are the general offices of Riki’s pro wrestling clubs. Riki has 15 employees running the wrestling program, which includes some 40 young trainees. On the same level is the arena with a seating capacity of 3,000 for boxing and wrestling, There is also a boxing school in the building, with a gymnasium that includes the latest equipment. Riki has a dozen young boxing aspirants training daily. They are housed and fed by Riki and all they do in return is to train.
Riki is one of the few boxing club owners to take care of the fighters in this fashion. His hope is that this program will someday produce a champion.
Other enterprises in the building is a Vic Tanny-like school, Riki Charm School and Beauty Clinic, a huge restaurant, and a cleaning establishment."

"And I'm like, 'I'm gonna go get him'" - Sid Wilson on headbutting Clown.

SID: So I'm like, okay, let's go see the show. Due diligence, you know, show them I'm, you know, interested. I'm not just, you know, coming to just, you know, get a gig or whatever. And, uh, Clown was comin' off the stage on a song called "Tattered and Torn", which he...he starts the lyrics to that song. He says, 'Kill me', like really loud and guttural. And I guess he used to come off the stage during that song every time, and get in the pit with the kids, and would be like, you know, they would all try and wrestle with him or whatever, and he would wrap them up with the mic cord and drag them across the floor, and all this kind of stuff. So, he decided, I'm gonna show the new guy what's up. And I didn't know about this. I was just standing at the back, but I could see him starting to make his way out from behind the drums.
And I'm like, 'I'm gonna go get him.'
So, I just instinctively start running up there, and I'm leapfrogging people. So, like, like...
MYRA: Jumping up like...
SID: Yeah, like grabbing people's shoulders and like jumping over their heads and like crawling over people, and anything I can do to get up there before he can get off of the stage.
So, just as he's getting ready to take his first step down off the stage, he looks up and I grab him. I'm there at the front. I grab him and I start headbutting him. I'm just like (repetitive headbutting motions)...headbutting him. Six times, oddly enough...his number, six.
I'm comin' in for the seventh one, and he pushes me away. He falls down to his knees on the stage, and he like...he said I almost knocked him out. He was like...
MYRA: Wait, so he was going to come for you?
SID: He was going to come for me. I went for him.
MYRA: And you sensed it. And so you were like, 'Actually, I'll show you crazy right now.'
SID: Cuz he was looking at me from like...you know, he was like (growling) 'Kill me', you know, and I'm like, 'Oh, really?'.

Muse, Wolverhampton Civic Hall

Wolverhampton Chronicle
Friday, 9th June 2000

A ROCK-hungry crowd were out in force up to see the last band play the Civic until a multi-million pound refurbishment is finished in the Autumn.
With Muse being one of the most musically sound and lyrically brilliant acts around, the 70s kitch of Wolverhampton's largest venue got a good send off.
It is hard to believe that these three angry young men originate from the sleepy town of Teignmouth in Devon.
Matt Bellamy, lead singer and driving force behind the act, was like a man possessed as the most amazing range of screeches and gut-wrenching wails emanated from his throat.
There were stunning versions of the furious Uno, Cave and Showbiz as well as a lighter-waving rendition of new single Unintended.
Feeling Good, the Nina Simone Classic, got the Muse treatment with Bellamy proving his versatility and moving onto keyboards.
All this from a band who have only been around since late last year - they are destined for great things.

Corey Taylor - The Roar of Fisher King (Dr Who - Before The Flood)

"During his time working in Cardiff, Daniel O'Hara discovered that the American heavy metal band Slipknot - one of his favourite groups - was playing the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff on Saturday 24th January as part of their Prepare for Hell tour. O’Hara found that his passion was shared by Derek Ritchie, and the pair also recalled that the lead singer, Corey Taylor, was a great fan of Doctor Who. Consequently, they decided to approach the band’s agent and offer a tour of the series’ sets prior to their evening performance in Cardiff...and rather hoped that Taylor could be encouraged to lend his famous stage roar to the Fisher King while at Roath Lock; O'Hara having been inspired by metal singer Mike Patton of Faith No More providing the Darkseeker screams in the 2007 post-apocalyptic movie I Am Legend. Taylor was delighted to be given a chance to visit the TARDIS set and the Doctor Who Experience; he had watched the series since the Tom Baker era on PBS and now shared his enjoyment of it with his son.
Derek Ritchie and Daniel O’Hara travelled to Chesham on the morning of Saturday 24th to see a rehearsal of Neil Fingleton as the Fisher King in costume. They then got the train back to Cardiff to be ready for their VIP. When Taylor arrived at the studios after going around the Doctor Who Experience, his visit was captured by the Doctor Who Extra team and he was delighted to add his vocal power to the series’ latest alien; a sound crew was on hand to record the singer’s roar at different tones and levels."

Muse in new guise launch aural assault

Birmingham Daily Post
Friday 25th May 2001

Muse
Birmingham Academy

Anyone who owns a copy of Muse's debut album Showbiz will know it's a melancholic musical masterpiece full of indie anthems.
So their performance at the Academy may well have been a shock to the system for many new fans, as Matt Bellamy (looking like a demonic Ritchie Neville of Five) launched into a blistering aural assault.
Last time I saw the band play was on a small stage in a festival field where the crowd was too big for the tent.
Despite the harder sound of their new album, Origin of Symmetry, which has already spawned the hit single Plug In Baby, Muse have already outgrown venues like the Academy.
Keeping pleasantries to an absolute minimum, they created a wall of sound with their opening tracks which included Cave and Uno.
One of the early highlights was an interesting cover of Nina Simone's Feeling Good.
I'm not sure what she would have made of it bit the crowd loved this moody version of the jazz classic.
A flurry of familiar tunes followed with a supersonic rendition of Sunburn, which doubtless raised the hairs on the back of more than 2,000 necks. Then a purple spotlight focused on Matt as he launched into a classic "lighter moment" with the majestic single Unintended.
The only complaint about Muse's new material, such as the new single, New Born, is that it sounds as if they're trying to be Radiohead circa 1996. That's not entirely a bad thing, but they are capable of so much more.
A set packed with 15 songs ended with a triumphant trio of tracks - Plug In Baby, Muscle Museum and Risk.
Like the giant balloons hanging from the ceiling, Muse's bubble has yet to burst.
