Not sure if this is a hot take or not

"It's not for me"/"I don't like the sound of this genre" is NOT a valid criticism of an album. I've seen way too many negative reviews that are along the lines of "I don't like X genre in general and this album isn't much different." I feel like this can be especially harmful to more obscure albums that are more affected by negative ratings. There's no point in rating an album negatively when your entire review is based around you not liking the style in the first place.

I read that a white acrylic platter could bring out the color more in records like this. The difference between the two is pretty wild.

I think Soundgarden is impossible without Chris Cornell. on the other hand, I somehow doubt people are listening to the chili peppers for Anthony Kiedis.
