Is this area safe?

Is this area safe?

I’m trying to decide on accommodation in Athens, and unfortunately, hotels in neighborhoods like Plaka are way outside my budget. I’ve been told to avoid the Omonia area, but I found a hotel in the location shown above that fits my budget. I’m a little skeptical because of its proximity to Omonia, even though the hotel is advertised as being in the Monastiraki area.
For me the choice is basically between this hotel and staying in a hostel, and I don’t feel particularly comfortable with the idea of a hostel.
Would you recommend this area for a female solo traveler? I’m not really into nightlife, so I wouldn’t be wandering around very late and I’d probably be back at the hotel by 10 PM. However, I also don’t want to feel anxious or unsafe walking back to my accommodation in the evening.
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who knows the area or has stayed nearby. Thank you!

Airbnb or hostel in Athens

Hostel or Airbnb in Athens?
This is my first time traveling to Europe. I’ve traveled solo to Korea before, and I always felt pretty safe there. Now I’m finding it a bit difficult to book suitable accommodation in Athens. I’m traveling on a limited budget, so I can’t really afford fancy hotels, and I’ve been looking for more affordable options. However, I’m finding that most of the budget hotels are in Omonia, which I’ve heard isn’t the safest area, especially for a woman traveling alone.
On the other hand, I’m finding hostels and Airbnbs in better areas like Monastiraki and Psyrri.
I’ve never stayed in a hostel before. I’m considering a female only room, but I’m worried I won’t be comfortable because there’s basically no privacy. I’m also a little concerned about the safety of my belongings.
With an Airbnb, I’d have much more privacy, but all of them have self check-in and no reception. That makes me nervous because I’d be completely on my own. I’m also worried about things like someone potentially following me to the apartment and knowing where I’m staying.
I also found a hotel on Evripidou Street, somewhere between Omonia and Monastiraki. I’m having a hard time figuring out whether this is actually a safe area or whether it’s not ideal because of its proximity to Omonia.
I’m really struggling to decide. If you’ve been to Athens, especially as a solo female traveler, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences or any recommendations.

How to I get from Toulouse to Florence overnight without flying?

I’m trying to figure out the best overnight route from Toulouse to Florence. I found a direct bus that takes about 16 hours, but I’m not sure if that’s the best option. I’m trying to avoid flying because I’d have to pay a lot for checked luggage, and there aren’t any direct flights anyway. So I’m mainly considering trains and buses.
Are there any other routes you’d recommend?
I’d also appreciate it if someone shared their experience taking flixbus or blablacar for this long?

Arriving late in Rome, where to stay?

I’m a solo female traveler arriving at Fiumicino Airport at 9:30 p.m. I’m assuming it’ll take about an hour to collect my luggage and leave the airport, so I’ll probably be heading into the city around 10:30 p.m.
I’ll only be staying in Rome for one night before traveling to Florence the next morning, so I’m trying to figure out the best area to stay. Ideally, I’m looking for somewhere that’s easy to reach from the airport but also feels safe to arrive at late at night.
I know Termini is the most convenient option because of the direct train from the airport, but I’ve seen quite a few people mention that the area around the station can feel a bit sketchy after dark., so I’m a little concerned about walking there at night.
Does anyone have recommendations for areas that would be a better choice given my situation?
