Demon for unexpected fun/adventure?

Working with the 72 demons of Magick by Gordon Winterfield, and I want my first ritual to be for unexpected fun/adventure - however none of the demons listed really match my desire. I know you can read the general description for the demons and see if it’s in the same ballpark, but I’m not sure if my petition “my life is adventurous” is too vague or not specific enough and what demon would match best with my petition since it’s not explicitly listed for any of the demons

What would you say to someone who swears their Magick doesn’t work?

Hey all, I’m new to GOM and loving it so far. By new, I mean like a week in. I’m so excited to do all the rituals - I nearly bought all the books lol I’ve always been into magick and occult but I’m most excited about FTM, angels of love, and I just ordered success magick.
Anyways, I’ve seen a few posts of people trying and swearing it doesn’t work - and I’ve been seeing people who swear it changed their life. What do you think is the difference between those people?

From my understanding, a lot of the magic words on your psyche and it’s up to you to make the necessary changes. The magic can only guide you, if I’m not mistaken.

NRA Chief Tortured Kitten In A Fraternity

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/14/nra-doug-hamlin-cat-killing

“Doug Hamlin is CEO of the NRA. In 1979 Doug and his fraternity bros tortured a kitten named BK to death and they didn’t serve a single day in jail for it. They cut BK’s paws off, strung him up and set him on fire. After completing community service, all charges expunged.

The names of Hamlin’s fraternity brothers involved in the torture of BK:

*David B. Froikin
* Brian P. Dunstan
* Jeffrey A. Abrahamson
* Michael S. Anderson

I cannot find much current info on them yet. University of Michigan alumni. BK was murdered 1979. None should be free.”

I sent a strongly worded email to the NRA, which you can do here if you’d like to protest this fucking creep:

Contraindicated for Renal Issues?

I want to give my mom cerebrolysin injections, and do a full 20 day 5ML/day course to prevent cognitive decline. She does have lowered kidney function, she doesn’t have kidney disease but it says it is contraindicated for kidney issues as it can cause renal failure, can anyone shed some light on this?
Also bonus points if you know a reliable source that ships to Canada 🇨🇦

Donating to and reporting content to SMAC Coalition does (hopefully) make a difference.

I emailed the SMAC coalition, https://www.endcrueltyonline.com

to ask if my monthly donations make a difference; here’s an email response I received.

Thank you so much for getting in touch, and I’m really sorry it’s taken me a little while to reply. I do want you to know I’ve seen your message, and I’m grateful you reached out.
I also want to say a heartfelt thank you for your support. You are one of our regular donors, and you’re part of a small handful of incredible people whose donations make this work possible. I completely understand why you’re asking whether donating, sharing, and reporting makes a difference — and I’m so sorry you’ve had to see content like this at all.
On the specific issue of the cat torture videos connected to China, this is definitely still on our radar and we have been working on it extensively this past year. We collaborate with organizations around the world to share data, identify patterns, and develop strategies together. To strengthen our understanding in-country, we’ve also brought on a staff member based in China so we have someone who can speak directly with local organizations and contacts on the ground. She has begun engaging with social media platforms in China where this content is being shared.
In parallel, we’re also working to connect with academics and experts in China to better understand the legal and policy landscape — because ultimately, meaningful change requires stronger protections and enforcement. There is still a great deal of work to do before this issue can be eliminated, but your support helps make it possible for us to keep moving this work forward alongside our wider efforts to end animal cruelty content online.
I also want to reassure you about the impact of what you’re doing personally. Reporting helps platforms identify and remove content faster, and it helps train their detection systems to recognize the same material when it reappears. And your engagement strengthens our ability to show platforms and regulators that this is urgent, widespread, and causing real harm, which matters when we’re pushing for policy changes and accountability.
We’re approaching this work on multiple fronts — including contributing to evidence-building, engaging platforms, and supporting stronger policy and enforcement environments — and we will keep pushing for change for the cats and for all animals being exploited on social media.
As soon as we have more concrete updates we can share, we will report back. In the meantime, please know that your support truly matters, and we are deeply grateful you are standing by us, and standing by the cats.
With sincere thanks,
Nicola
