Tourist in Turkey Ran Over a Puppy and Beat It to Death With a Rock — Will Germany Do Anything?

A German tourist in Manavgat, Turkey ran over a puppy with an ATV and then beat the injured animal to death with a rock. The incident was caught on a motorcycle courier’s helmet camera, leading to his arrest.
He was questioned by prosecutors and deported from Turkey.
But so far, there appears to have been no action from Germany. Is this really where it ends?
He brutally killed a helpless animal, was caught on camera, arrested and deported and now there seems to be no consequence waiting for him in Germany.
Is Germany going to do anything about what its citizen did in Turkey, or is everyone just going to pretend this never happened?

You have the choice every day to not pay for the suffering of an innocent animal

Living vegan isn’t necessarily about loving animals. Living vegan is about respecting animals’ sentience and their right to a life free of suffering.

If you put yourself in the position of the animals, and someone was objectifying you, how fast would you want the injustice to end?

Would you accept them saying “this is just how I was raised, I can’t stop”? If the answers were “right now” and “no”. Then you are already vegan in your heart. The next step is to make the choice and buy vegan products from now on.

You have the choice every day to not pay for the suffering of an innocent animal. You have the power to make a positive impact on the world and on the lives of others.

Come join the march to abolish animal testing in New York!

Hello, I live in New Hampshire but I am driving 3 hours to be a part of this wonderful movement to abolish animal testing. It is a 207 mile walk in New York, but you can just come for a day, a few hours, post it to social media, or donate money for the cause. Anything helps. This March is coming at a perfect time, as the closing of ridglan farms in Wisconsin has given this movement so much momentum. If you don’t know, Ridglan Farms was an animal breeding facility who supplied beagles to laboratories. I will not go into detail about what happened here or how these dogs are treated in labs, because it makes me physically ill. Please come join me and countless others and be part of something amazing! This is obviously a very vegan friendly event, as eating vegan is encouraged.

#FastAgainstAnimalAbuse

Stop Wearing Leather.

This Sunday, I completed Week 228 of #FastAgainstAnimalAbuse...standing in solidarity with Animals who are exploited, harmed and killed for human use.

Leather is not just a material. It was someone’s skin.

We don’t need to wear animals to look good.

Release the York 9 Primates!

Repost from: Last Chance for Animals (LCA)

🚨100 DAYS. NO ANSWERS. NO ACCOUNTABILITY. YORK UNIVERSITY REMAINS SILENT.🚨

It has been 100 days since LCA exposed the suffering of nine rhesus macaques used in neuroscience research at York University. Yet York University remains silent and has failed to take accountability for the suffering documented in the investigation.

The investigation exposed macaques suffering from cranial implants, social isolation, restraint collars, and water deprivation.

💔SOME OF THE MACAQUES HAVE BEEN SUFFERING AT YORK FOR 17 YEARS.💔

LCA continues to call on York University to end its primate research, surrender the macaques to a sanctuary, and prioritize the use and development of non-animal methods.

➡️100 DAYS OF SILENCE IS 100 DAYS TOO LONG.⬅️

Jainism for Veganism. (podcast)

Today, we’re highlighting the efforts of passionate Jain animal rights activists who are promoting veganism from within their religious community.

And you might be thinking: isn’t Jainism that ancient Indian religion whose core teaching is Ahimsa—the principle of avoiding harm to any living being, including animals, insects, and even microscopic organisms? So how come Jains aren’t already some of the biggest proponents of veganism out there?

That’s one of the questions we’ll explore today, along with others, like: What’s the place of spirituality and religion in the vegan movement? What boundaries should you set as a compassionate person? And what does it feel like when religious authorities within your own community oppose your veganism?

Game Developer Needed for Foggy Farm

**Organization:** Clean Meat Alliance

**Description:** Our main current focus (and grant application target) is to find unconventional funding for alternative proteins through a new medium: games. A successful mobile game, Treat: Play and Impact Real Animals, works by sending chewy shipments to companion animal shelters as the user plays. We are building a similar application called Foggy Farm that funds sanctuary animals, with the goal of siphoning a significant amount of revenue to cultivated meat research and other effective animal charities (GFI, Innovate Animal Ag, etc.). Since the game is mass appeal, the focus won’t directly be on meat or factory farming, but rather serve as a way to support sanctuaries and alternative protein research simultaneously.

Much of the alpha version of the game is complete except for the most important mode, roll mode. We need two engineers/developers to help completion, and implement some of the more complicated details (playstore integration, in game purchases, food shipments, etc.). Here is the design document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1heG6cxmZZhXMQu9y5l95079r6rPAH2CT4n6IEkBrmrI/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.fhoku3e8w4u0

**Duration:** Long-term (2-12 months)

**Est. time commitment:** 3-8 hours per week

**Timezone:** UTC-7

**Skills Required:** Software Engineering, Game Development, Three.js

**Application Deadline:** 07/01/2026

Help reporting animal abuse

Hello everyone, i'll just be brief. I found this YouTube channel through YouTube shorts, and saw a few of their videos grabbing a bunny/hare by their ears and sometimes this person would grab a bunny by their back on purpose. I'm not a bunny expert, but i'm pretty sure the way this person hold these bunnies is wrong and it hurts the animal. Please help report any videos of them purposely holding the bunny/hare wrongly. I left the YouTube channel username down below, and please don't harass them, just report. Thank you.
