Windows 11 ltsc is not a solution

So as I've been seeying people in r/linuxsucks101 say that windows 11 ltsc is what you should use if you have problems with the bloat and telemetry i have decided to give it a shot for a few months and frankly i hate it so much i switched back to normal release.

Some of the issues i had include:

- startup menu bugging out constantly and refusing to show my apps.

- a never ending amount of connexion issues, I can't download anything without having the download fail on me every 2-3 mins.

- screenshot tool doesn't work, i have to manually open up the snipping tool and take them that way.

- can't use notepad dark mode.

And there are other issues i haven't mentioned as I'm not entirely sure they are exclusive to windows 11 ltsc,

I would switch back to linux as I've been using arch on and off for years but i still need software that only works properly on windows.

Note: I wrote the whole guide then asked claude to rewrite it while keeping the same information for clearer wording and better grammar, just saying before i hear complaints about the ai use.

RedotPay is one of the most accessible and convenient virtual credit cards available in Algeria. If you've never used a Mastercard/Visa or dealt with crypto before, the process can feel overwhelming at first — but it's simpler than it looks. This guide walks you through everything step by step.

---

## 1. Getting Your Virtual Card

After installing the RedotPay app and verifying your identity, your first step is to get a virtual card. This requires a one-time deposit of **$10 USD** to activate it. If you complete this within 30 days, **$5 USD is refunded** back to your account.

The question is: how do you deposit funds in the first place? Read on.

---

## 1.1 Getting USDT Through Binance

The currency you'll primarily use with RedotPay is **USDT** (a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar), and Binance is the easiest way to get it.

### 1.1.1 Buying USDT via Binance P2P with BaridiMob

  1. Download Binance, complete sign-up, and verify your identity.

  2. Navigate to the P2P market and search for USDT.

  3. Browse sellers and select one offering the amount you need at a competitive rate, then press **Buy**.

  4. You'll be shown a page with the seller's **BaridiMob RIP** (the account to send money to), a countdown timer for how long you have to complete the transfer, a button to confirm payment, and a chat to communicate with the seller.

  5. Send the payment via BaridiMob, notify the seller using the confirmation button, and share a screenshot of your receipt if requested — many sellers require this.

> **Note:** P2P is only available via the **Binance website** (web browser), not the mobile app.

## 1.2 Withdrawing USDT from Binance to RedotPay

**Minimum withdrawal:** 10 USDT

**Recommended amount:** 10.1 USDT (the extra 0.1 covers the network transfer fee, so you arrive at a full $10 in RedotPay)

### Step 1 — Get Your RedotPay Deposit Address

  1. Open the RedotPay app.

  2. Go to **Deposit → USDT → On-Chain → BSC (BEP20)**.

  3. Copy the wallet address shown.

### Step 2 — Withdraw from Binance

  1. Open the Binance app and go to **Portfolio → Withdraw**.

  2. Select **Tether (USDT)** as the currency.

  3. Paste your RedotPay address into the address field.

  4. Under "Choose a Network," select **BSC (BEP20)**.

  5. Enter your amount (e.g., 10.1 USDT) and confirm the withdrawal.

> **Note:** Transfers typically arrive within a minute or two. Don't panic if the funds don't appear instantly.

---

## 1.3 Applying for Your Card

Once funds are in your RedotPay account:

  1. Go to the **Card** tab in the app.

  2. Click **Apply for a Card** and fill in your details.

> **Note:** The form asks for two addresses — it's fine to copy and paste the same address in both fields.

**That's it! You now have a working virtual Visa card with $5 to spend.**

---

## 2. PayPal and Google Pay

While you can use your RedotPay card directly by entering the card number, expiration date, cardholder name, and CVV at checkout, linking it to a payment platform is far more convenient and adds an extra layer of security — your full card details won't be stored across dozens of websites.

> **Note:** Some platforms may not accept your card directly for various reasons (e.g., Steam had issues with RedotPay before it switched to the Visa network). Using PayPal or Google Pay can work around this.

**PayPal** is also useful if you do **remote freelance work** and need to receive payments from international clients.

---

### 2.1 Linking Your Card to PayPal

  1. Download the PayPal app and complete account setup.

  2. Go to your **Wallet** and select **Add a Card**.

  3. Enter your RedotPay card details and save.

You're ready to pay with PayPal anywhere it's accepted.

---

### 2.2 Linking Your Card to Google Pay

  1. Open the **Google Play Store**.

  2. Tap your **profile picture** in the top right.

  3. Go to **Payments & Subscriptions → Payment Methods**.

  4. Add your RedotPay card details.

For **Apple users**, you can do the same through **Apple Pay** via the Wallet app.

---

With all of this set up, you're fully equipped to shop online, subscribe to services, and receive payments internationally. Hopefully this clears up any confusion you had getting started.
