Unfortunately i exhausted my GI bill prior to getting approved for VRE so im on the lower stipend while finishing my degree in a very expensive city. I’m at 80% disability + $1000 from VRE which is barely enough for rent and electricity in my city. Is anyone else in this situation?
What extra things have you done to supplement the income while full time in school (22 credits)?

My VRE counselor won’t get back to me and my school VA rep does not know where to send my enrollment for this semester. Does anyone know about this process or where my VA rep is supposed to send my semester enrollment so I can start received bah because I’ve been in school for 2 months now and have not been paid?

How have you guys gone about getting a new counselor or any advice? I haven’t heard from mine in 5 weeks and I’ve called and emailed everyone I possibly could. I have completed all paperwork for VRE in May and they have not paid my school tuition and my semester is almost over.

I got approved for VRE in May and school started late May. I’ve been in school for 6 weeks now. The last I heard from my VRE rep was 2 weeks ago letting me know I switched counselors but it’s coming to be July 1st and I still haven’t been paid for anything and neither has my school. I have emailed once a week to follow up (so twice) but no answer. When would it be appropriate to start calling the regional office? I know it takes VRE reps a very long time and I’m being patient but my tuition has not been paid and I’m halfway through summer semester.

Hey 1 yr experience coming from NYC. Med surge. I don’t care where I work and I don’t mind nights, it’s whatever. Anyway born and raised in Escondido. Trying to come back because my parents are getting older. What’s the job situation looking like? I keep reading about it being tough but I gotta get back 😭
