Refused to do a PPF

There is a well known auto workshop in my city called The Detailing Mafia. I took my tracker and asked them for a PPF quotation. As soon as they saw it was a Triumph, they simply refused saying there are paint issues with Triumph bikes because of which they stopped doing PPF.

There are a hell lot of scratches on the tank due to waterwashing and I want to make sure it stays looking good for a couple of years.

Any suggestions on how to maintain the bike? This is the first time owning a bike by myself.

How do you guys clean the bike when going out daily? Do you just wipe with a dry microfiber cloth? Dust gets accumulated on the bike so easily as my house is nearby highway.

Limiter on Tracker?

Hey,

I have just completed the first service of my tracker yesterday. I haven't pushed beyond 80kmph and 4k RPM till yesterday.

Right after the service, I took it for a ride and noticed that the bike is struggling to even reach 120kmph. The vibrations became so much that it loosened one of the side mirrors.

I took it again to the SC today and they said vibrations are normal. Bruh, I know a bike will have vibrations but enough to loosen the mirrors that are checked and tightened by the SC an hour ago is too much.

I mentioned my main problem is the revving of the engine. While on the way to SC, I noticed the bike is not going past 6K RPM. They've done something today and asked to check but I couldn't.. will check tomorrow.

Is that true about the rev limiter on Triumph bikes? Some say there's nothing like that. Yesterday when I hit the 120kmph, I haven't looked at the RPM but I can say the engine is screaming like hell.

New Tracker 400 (125 km): ABS and TC indicators not showing at all – should I be concerned?

Hey everyone,

I bought my Tracker 400 three days ago, and yesterday I went for a short ride. Everything was normal initially. I stopped to refuel, and after filling up, I started the bike again and noticed that none of the dashboard indicators (ABS, Traction Control, engine light, etc.) were showing.

During the initial self-check when I turn the key on, the warning lights illuminate as expected. But once the engine starts, all the indicators disappear, including the ABS and TC icons. I'm not sure if this is normal or if there's an issue with the instrument cluster.

I know the fuel stop is probably unrelated—it just happened around the same time I noticed it.

This is my first bike, so I'm a bit concerned. Is this expected behavior, or should I get it checked at the service center?
