Can't open any "door" while under fire??? Screenshot included

Hi all - this has happened twice but I can't find any info online. Is it a mechanic you can't "open a door" when under fire? In other words, when I pass over an entrance, I'm not prompted to "press [key/button] to enter" - This has happened twice during times when I expected to be able to use a door (entrance).

First it happened during Clear the Way and I had good loot: I couldn't go through a door to temporarily escape being shot at, but I figured there must have been a body on the entrance so I was getting "press [key] to loot" and I missed the option to scroll to "press [key] to enter". Oh well.

But it happened again just now and since it happened once I was expecting it again sometime. I have a screenshot below, of the door. I know in the screenshot I'm still just out of range of getting the "press [key] to enter" prompt. But before the screenshot, I took a few seconds while getting shot at to move ALL OVER the white circle, in all directions and on all edges, walking back and forth in and out of doorway range, and didn't get an entry key prompt.

Can anyone please tell me: is this an intended mechanic I need to always expect? Or is this a bug?

I've logged 142hrs in the game so far, and I don't feel like this should happen based off my gameplay experience and memories thus far.

Thank you for reading.

This door didn't give me a \"press [key] to enter\" prompt AT ALL which surprised me and I died a few seconds later from surprise and being thrown off

Trigen side effects - Dr Appt

I've been taking methylphenidate 36mg (extended release) for a couple years or so now. Always generic due to shitty insurance companies (UHC) not covering name brand. But I digress...

I've never had any clear side effects linked to methylphenidate. Well... I got my most-recent refill at Publix and I've never filled there. I was given Trigen (30 day dosage). Within 24 hours I was trembling so bad my therapist noticed over a telehealth call via FaceTime and asked if I was okay. I hadn't noticed the trembling yet because tbh I've been shaky my whole life. But man it got worse. More than once it's been "water sloshing out of a drinking glass"-bad.

Ultimately my conclusion is it has to be the Trigen methylphenidate. The timing is too suspicious and nothing else in my life has changed during the past 10 days, for better or worse. I've never paid attention to manufacturers of my methyl because of no clear side effects. And shaking has been a consistent symptom daily and it always peaks around the same time in the afternoon/evening and then tapers back off mostly.

I have a doctor's appt in the morning, to ask if he can help me replace my ~18 pills I have left. I honestly don't have high hopes because the one time I had an issue with a generic refill before (different med not a stimulant), it took like 8 phone calls to my dr, insurance, and the pharmacy's cust supp line (CVS) when the pharmacy manager himself said his hands were tied. 2 days later they swapped the pills out and that wasn't even a controlled substance.

So... wish me luck getting these swapped out... 🙃

Con badge ribbon ideas? (Edgerunners 2)

Hi all - Any ideas for likeable / funny quotes to put on a ribbon for a con?

Context: If you've been to a con you'll know what I'm referring to, but there are little ~3.5"x1.5" ribbons people bring and pass out and exchange. People attach them to their badges as they collect them. They can have any vector art and/or text combination you desire. People write funny quotes, serious quotes, completely random stuff, inside jokes nobody even knows about, really anything, or just art no text.

I'm cosplaying as Kingsley (prime not post-decline) and would like to bring some ribbons but I can't think of anything I love yet.

Any ideas?

I'd prioritize in order: a nod to season 2 and/or Weak himself, funny, heartwarming/feel good. In particular, I'm looking forward to seeing how many people recognize me and it would be fun to have a ribbon specifically to give out to those people.

Doesn't have to be from Edgerunners 2 yet especially since we have such little content from it so far.

Could include words like choom, preem, chrome, nova!, etc. Can be mash-ups with other anime or original quotes. "Sign me up, choomba!" is one of my favorite quotes from season 1 lol and a possible choice, but doesn't really tie to Weak aside from being in the same universe.

Thanks for reading and considering!! 💙

Hi r/roofing! I'd appreciate any feedback or commentary anyone would like to give. I'm a man of many trades but roofing is not one of them. Also, this house has been constructed and maintained with little to no permitting/inspections... It's the wild west out here in the south-east boonies (the houses location).

My specific asks, if anyone would like to reply:

  1. Do you see any glaring horrible construction mistakes with the overall roof or any specific part?
  2. Would you advise against using "extreme rubberized Henry's silicone sealant" to patch-up the seams around vents, as the owner/s previously did themselves and have now requested? And/or any other band-aids recommended? (considering a roof overhaul isn't feasible for them, and this only needs to last months or maybe 1-2 years max)

Info: 1970's house, roof might be from the 1990's era during one of two major renovations/additions. House 'owned by a senior family member who can't repair the roof. I'm helping with misc repairs (properly re-designed + rebuilt kitchen plumbing most-recently) and said I'd check the roof. There are multiple active roof water leaks - nothing torrential but enough to fully saturate small areas of drywall and ceiling.

The roof looks like it has some glaring issues? Screws backing out = "easy" fix. But both chimney flashing looks problematic? I numbered photos for ease of reference, if anyone wants to reply to any of them.

#1) I suspect this "valley" is leaking due to, as you can see, a failed historical silicone sealant repair someone made. The interior ceiling directly beneath isn't wet but the (load-bearing exterior wall) drywall is saturated in a foot-wide streak from ceiling to floor.

#3) Laundry plumbing/sewer vent. No leak detected.

#4) Master bath vent. Historical severe water damage on the ceiling around the interior exhaust vent - allegedly no longer an active leak but I suspect it is leaking still.

#5) Chimney number one. 1970s original. No leak detected, but sus flashing.

#6) Chimney number two. 1990's addition. No leak detected.

#7) Bathroom exhaust fan vent. Small-moderate leak, saturating ceiling around the interior exhaust vent, drips when raining.

#8) Bathroom plumbing/sewer vent. No leak detected.

Lastly, I was concerned about leaves/debris pouring out of this thing. I researched it and found ridge vents are indeed vents and this isn't a construction mistake or something - although there was and still is a lot of leaves in the entire length of vent that needs to be cleaned out.

If you read this far, thank you! If you want to drop a comment, double thank you! If you didn't read this far, idk how you're reading this right now!
