I had a humbling experience

We recently lost power for a couple of days. I wasn’t worried bc I have a small solar panel, several rechargeable lights, and a cell phone bank for the electronics.

I learned that everything I have is not up to the task. The solar panel is only 7 watts and won’t even charge a phone. The rechargeable light bulbs only lasted a couple of hours and the phone bank is so slow it is just useless.

I’m asking for recommendations for 1. A quality charger for the phones. 2. A useful solar panel for charging the phone charger. 3. A backup system (like Anker or Eco Flow) that I can plug in lamps or maybe even run the TV.

Explain it like I’m 5. I know that amp hours are words in English, but I don’t know what they mean

Fai Fani Seat Covers

The perforated seat bottom on my car is completely trashed. There are also several splits on the edges of the seat.

I found a company that makes a re-upholstery set and I thought it would be a cool project. Unfortunately, it’s made in Pakistan and is subject to heavy tariffs.

I bought these seat covers from Amazon and I am very impressed. They are very thick and very well made. They are attached with hooks and straps and they definitely don’t slide around.

I pulled the seats out so I could remove the seat controls. I put the covers on and then poked holes for the screws

There’s a bit of extra leather at the top, but not a deal breaker

New LCAs today

Found my “bar supports” (the ball joint that attaches the end link to the lower control arm) were leaking. I found replacements on line, but it was cheaper to replace the entire control arms.

Did the sway bar bushings, end links, lower control arms and 2 new outer tie rods in about 4 hours (including a trip to the parts store

2006 Infiniti G 35 AWD Sedan

What is the name of the part on the right that attaches to the end link? It a ball joint that goes through a hole in the lower control arm and the end link attaches to it.

I need a new one and Google is no help. Thanks
