I am 51, F, single & no kids. I get along with people of all ages. Looking for people to watch the World Cup Brazil & Canada games with at a bar, restaurant etc. I will be going solo if don't find anyone. My very small circle of friends are not into soccer. I live in Etobicoke & work at Yonge & Eg. In 2010, I ended up watching the Spain finals on College St. with a group of co-op students at my job. It was so much fun!

So I went to Walmart yeaterday to do my groceries as I always do. A small watermelon was almost $6!! I only eat fruit when the weather hits 23C+. Is the fruit & veggie store in the Six Points plaza cheaper?

What are you changing/cutting this Summer? I live in Toronto used to go on short drives & day trips in the Summer. I've cancelled them all.

I work at Yonge & Eg & treat myself to a muffin & coffee at Timmies/cafe/bakery once a week. I want to save money & buy one of the assorted muffin packs that I've seen at Walmart to keep in my work fridge. This way I can still indulge in a muffin & make my coffee at work. I picked up a 6 pack of morning glory muffins at Metro (Yonge & Eg). They are delicious but I need variety. I also am not a fan of chocolate in muffins. I do like chocolate in other desserts. Any suggestions? I went to the Farm Boy & Loblaws but couldn't find any assorted muffin packs. I live in the West end.

I haven't been to a movie in years. The last time when I went a few years ago, I noticed either teenagers or a groups of people on their phones & talking. Completely ruining my experience. Wondering if going to Queensway VIP will avoid this. Your thoughts? I really want to watch Michael on the big screen.

I work at Yonge & Eg. There are 2 Pho sit doen restaurants. Haven't been to either. Pho Anh Vu is expensive than Madame Saigon. Both have good reviews. Which would you recoomend? I live in the West end & am spoiled for choice by both locations of Pho Ngoc Yen. So I am a bit picky. Thanks!!

The building I rent in has no cigarette smoking on balconies. It is part of the rental agreement. I have been renting for over a year. Prevously lived in a house. So I knew I would have to do a lot of adjusting. The renter below me smokes on the balcony at all times. Nothing has worked to stop or reduce their smoking. After a year of trying everything I can, I have decided to work on eliminating or reducing the smell of cigarette smoke coming into my apartment.

Talked to my landlord & property manager atleast 10 times. Took videos- some clear & some not. Atleast about 20. Asked Super to come to my balcony so that they can see & smell the smoke abd inform property manager.

I cannot talk to the rebnters below. I am a single woman in my early 50s who fled an abusive home. The unit below me has 2 tall, younger men who are loud and amole + drink on their balcony. I am not willing to take a chance.

Any ideas? I have an air purifer, Honeywell Drs Ofice brand, right next to the balcony door. It doesn't prevent the smell. I also have a box fan on the balcony but it doesn't help. Thanks!!
