This discussion seems to come around every six months or so, but it never gets old. So, what are the greatest album openers? Mine are:

I'm eligible for a mixed use 6 unit apartment building with an attached ground floor office if I do a joint VA loan with another veteran.

Has anyone actually done this? My end goal is refinance it after a year, buy out the other guys share and use my one time reset to buy another mixed use building.

I have been working out for 2 years non-consistently.

Recently, I have been going for 5 weeks uninterrupted. My goal is to just show up 12 times a month from now on. I'm currently on the Stronglifts 5x5 program. SBD, OP, and Rows.

My question is, do you guys find yourselves getting gassed, and out of breath after hard work sets? It used to not be like this. Workouts were taking about an hour, now they take 2 hours. Today I deloaded 20% but still lightheaded at the end of some lifts. Thank you all.

They have some absolute bangers, but most of their albums are filler.

For me, when I hear a certain guitar tone, that definitely tells me it's "nu-metal". I can hear only the guitar track and tell you what it is.

You could make the case that it's all of them but if you had to pick one, which would you choose?

I'm not seeking advice, a financial relationship, or a referral. Marine veteran here. I’m dealing with an old FEMA Individual Assistance recoupment debt from Hurricane Katrina. FEMA says I owe back disaster assistance from 2005, and Treasury is currently offsetting my tax refunds. I did not commit fraud or intentionally misrepresent anything. A key recoupment letter was allegedly sent while I was deployed, so I never received it. I’m below the federal poverty level and have documented hardship/PTSD-related issues.

I am not talking about bands that went soft as a cupcake like Mushroomhead. Godamn man, I don't know why bands can't just stay true to form. Nobody wants to hear piano ballads and shit. Stupid Mushroomhead. I love them, it's just that their earlier stuff was so good and I expected more out of them.

Same with Slipknot, they changed way too much after Iowa. They're a hard rock band since Subliminal verses. I don't know what they're doing now.

Nonpoint and Sevendust are the two off the top of my head.
