Bamboo Patch on Foothills Rd.

This is a long shot, but does anybody happen to know the property owners for this patch of bamboo on Foothills Rd?

My daughters and I are looking for some large, freshly cut bamboo stalks for projects, and we're hoping to get the owner's approval to go and get some.

Alternatively, if anyone out there has some large-ish, decent looking bamboo on their property and are willing to let me come and grab some. Please, let me know!

Thank you!

(US) Searching for an Outdoor Projector to Take Camping!

My wife and I just purchased this tent and plan on taking our daughters on their first camping trip in two weeks!

This tent features a 55" projector screen and I was curious about finding one to maybe take with us.

Unfortunately, my budget is super tight right now and I would need to find something under $200. Preferably much cheaper.

I understand that's not much to work with as far as projectors go. The good news is that I don't think my daughters are too concerned with quality. There are just a million different options out there and it has been difficult for me to choose the best one.

Thank you so much!

A Question About This Unidentified Double Bit Axe Head

I found this at my dad's old cabin a few years ago and I'm considering cleaning it up and rehanging it.

I am mostly wondering about those countersunk nail holes there on the bottom of each side. Are they manufactured that way, or did someone add them later?

Thank you!

First Timer Seeking Inspiration Ideas for this Painting

I am so glad I found this corner of Reddit! I hope this doesn't break any rules of the sub. Y'all are very gifted and creative.

My wife and I rescued this sweet painting from a free pile the other day. I think it's a beautiful opportunity to try repainting. However, I am not the best artist and the last time I tried painting may have been grade school. 😬

That being said, I am looking for some recommendations for this piece. There is a small tear in the canvas, I've circled it on the second picture. So, I am wondering if I should try incorporating it somehow? I've thought about making the hole bigger and painting a giant eyeballs peeking through, or perhaps an interdimensional rift or something.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated and all will be considered! I will also be sure to post the final product, no matter how it turns out.

Thank you!
