Smart bulb for hard wired light?

Is there such a thing as a smart bulb if the light is hardwired I’m thinking specifically of the light at the front door. I’d love to be able to open it before I get home at night so that I have light to get in the house.

Do I have to do something with the wiring or can I just get a bulb that will do the trick? I have Siri and Alexa, if either one of those can tackle it.

TastyTrade closing only positions?

Does anyone have any insight as to why tastytrade has so many tickers at a closing only status? I looked at four different plays over the last three days and one of them is in a closing only status. I’m unable to open a position.

Does anyone have any insight?

Skills for local stack?

I am a non-computer person, but I filled my own stack and I’m developing it for personal and some professional use.

I’m familiar with Claude and writing skills for Claude.

Is there anything similar to use in the local stack? Any process I can do to create a given protocol system will run? Or is this exactly what repos are on GitHub?

I have an adequate system, Max studio M3 ultra 96 gb RAM just wanting to use it optimally.

Thanks!

Input desired

My vision is not horrible. About 22 years ago I started wearing glasses for reading. In the last couple of years, my vision is now worse at the medium distance; using the computer is difficult. Reading the car dashboard is difficult and when I play poker, reading the cards on the table are difficult. I find myself taking the reading glasses off and on many times, squinting at the mid distances. Current reading glasses are about 1.75 to 2. The “glasses on glasses off, and mid range issues are making me crazy.

I also have mild cataracts that have worsened over the last two years apparently they’re still in the mild range.

I know this is relatively minor compared to others, but I’m wondering if it’s too soon to consider lens replacement surgery. I’m looking at the BVI which I believe is a tri flex progressive.

Anyone had the surgery who had similar relatively mild difficulties? If it matters, I’m 67 and very healthy, still working full-time.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for image generation

Can anyone recommend a good local model for image generation? Nothing fancy, this is not for commercial or business purposes but I'm just looking to generate ideas that come to me personal icons or logos, etc. For example, I play Poker and I'm looking to design a small image that I could draw on my wrist or have tattooed to remind me about certain mental areas of focus.

Any good LLM for a local stack that can do image generation? If it matters, I'm using a Mac studio M3 ultra 96 GB RAM with LM Studio

Reva Shelf off track

I am a homeowner, not a cabinet builder. I have a rev shelf pull out for the tall cookie sheets and trays. It no longer pulls out. It seems to be off the rails. Because I can't get my fingers in there. I can't move it around much. The shelf seems stuck. When I try to lift it and pull it forward, it doesn't budge. What do I need to do to get it back on the rails - part of the problem is that I don't know how it is supposed to look... Do the rails ride the top of the wheel? Any suggestions?
