New format at our store

hi,

I recently started playing in the Reality Fracture league at my local store and had a really good time with it yesterday. I really like the idea of gradually building up your card pool and increasing the power level over time, without it feeling as oppressive as Standard can sometimes be.

Just for some context, the league works like this:

  • Games are best of 1 (1v1)
  • Minimum deck size is 30 cards
  • Everyone gets one free mulligan
  • When you join, you buy 4 Reality Fracture boosters
  • You get a Reality Fracture Deck Checklist from the store where you register all the cards you pull, you hand the checklist back to the store when you're done playing
  • You can earn the option to buy 2 additional boosters per week if you participate in playing
  • Any cards from new boosters have to be added to your registered card pool on the checklist

So basically, I'm looking for some input on what you would do with the pool I currently have. The gruul deck I use is fine but it gets a little stale after some games.

Here’s my current card pool:

I'm still getting a feel for the format, so I'd really appreciate any advice or different ideas for how to build a fun deck. :)

Looking for feedback on my 4-day gym routine

Hi everyone,

I've recently started going to the gym before work 4 mornings a week. My main sport is climbing, so I'm trying to build some overall strength and muscle while making sure my training doesn't negatively affect my climbing.

After the first week (I started thursday) I found myself to sore to go climbing on wednessday. Will the muscle ache go down the longer I work out? I did back and bisceps on tuesday... I know pretty dumb. I switched it around a bit and it now looks like the following:

Monday: Gym (Legs)

Tuesday: Gym (Shoulders + Abs)

Wednesday: Climbing in the evening

Thursday: Gym (Chest + Triceps)

Friday: Gym (Back + Biceps)

Saturday: I coach a youth team in climbing (not very demanding, but I do climb a bit).

The gym sessions are around 40–50 minutes.

My main questions are:

  • Will this routine leave me too sore for climbing on Wednesdays?
  • Am I hitting all the major muscle groups well enough?
  • Am I overdoing any muscle groups or neglecting others?
  • Is there anything you would change?

Monday – Legs

  • Leg Press — 3×8–12
  • Leg Extension — 3×10–15
  • Seated Leg Curl — 3×10–15
  • Romanian Deadlift (Dumbbells) — 3×8–12
  • Standing/Seated Calf Raise — 3×12–20

Tuesday – Shoulders + Abs

  • Seated Shoulder Press Machine — 3×8–12
  • Dumbbell Lateral Raise — 3×12–15
  • Rear Delt Fly Machine — 3×12–15
  • Cable Crunch — 3×12–20
  • Hanging Knee Raise — 3×10–15
  • Plank — 3 rounds

Thursday – Chest + Triceps

  • Chest Press Machine — 3×8–12
  • Incline Chest Press Machine — 3×8–12
  • Push-ups — 3×15
  • Cable Triceps Pushdown — 3×10–15
  • Overhead Cable Triceps Extension — 3×10–15

Friday – Back + Biceps

  • Lat Pulldown — 3×8–12
  • Seated Cable Row — 3×8–12
  • Diverging Seated Row — 3×8–12
  • Dumbbell Bicep Curl — 3×10–15
  • Hammer Curl — 3×10–15

I'd really appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thanks!

Trying to make a weird bird list with this scary scarecrow.

Hey everyone!

Decklist: I love birds • (Golgari Commander deck) • Archidekt

I've been brewing a Rendmaw, Creaking Nest deck that's meant to be a mix of group hug, pillowford, and a bit of controlled chaos. The main idea is to maximize Rendmaw's ability by playing as many cards with multiple card types as possible while giving everyone some resources and encouraging a fun, interactive game rather than trying to combo off or stomp the table.

I'm mostly looking for feedback on a few things:

Does the deck look like it would actually work?

More importantly, does it look fun to play with and against?

Are there any obvious weaknesses or holes in the list?

Are there any fun or obscure cards that fit the theme that synergize well with Rendmaw that I might have missed?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions or experiences from people who've played Rendmaw.

Thanks!
