outside entry way

what are your suggestions to decorate the entry way?

original was thinking a few vases and large plants but unsure if I want to maintain them and worried about potential damage to the concrete. Also, house is in northern Midwest so would need to figure out what to do in colder months

wanting to make it more warm and welcoming but keep it simple

stupid to buy a new house?!

39 y/o married with two grade school aged kids

have been in out current house for 10-15 years (bought as a new house) and have a 15-year @ less than 2.5% which we will payoff before I am 50. Also have over $300k in equity.

We make $250k+ per year and have $4-$500k in savings, retirement, roth, etc.

We have an opportunity to purchase a house (off market) in a neighborhood with many good friends and family living within a few blocks. The house also backs up to a golf course which we belong to and spend quite a bit of time at. $600k house and needs $200k+ in rennovations. Currently a 15 min drive

Do we stay where we are, hopefully never worry about a payment, enjoy plenty of financial freedom and choice, continue to make a drive.

OR- buy the house with mainly equity, pull out $200k to perform renovations, extend our loan for another decade (20 year mortgage) and keep our payments similar.

This move would extend our loan, make early retirement much less achievable, make vacations and daily decisions regarding money need to take quite a bit more thought.

Schools are not a huge factor as kids will likely stay in private school in either location

what decision do you make and why?

I know how lucky we are to be in this situation and have worked very hard to get us here. Would just love opinions as we have went both ways constantly

Why do we have to trade Jaylen Brown?!

I get it is all rumors but the latest is us getting JB back for Giannis and moving hom right away to a 3rd team for what seems to be and underwhelming return.

Is it out of question to just target JB and a couple of picks?

I think we would be a playoff team and have a year or so to budget value on a semi competitive team for Turner, Kuz, KPJ and others before trading them. Turners value can only go up, JB gets to be a star and we wait for a team who wants to pair him up in the near future.

We also don't get any of our own picks back so were not hurting ourselves by being a mid tier team.

Not my favorite outcome but better than the heat package and the poo poo platters being stated from the Hawks or Blazers

Ground separating from concrete walk way

House is about 15 years old in south central WI

As the pictures show, starting to get separation from concrete and the dirt, showing the bottom of concrete that couldn't be seen before.

Lots of homes that are a few years older in the neighborhood with cracks in the walkway and stairs.

What can I do to fix this or get ahead of problems before they occur? Thanks!

Best young trade asset

Adsuming we are trading Giannis (for the sake of the conversation) what is the best realistic young trade target?

What else do you think ww get along with the player?

Anyone else I missed or pick package that you prefer?
