Ant Killer that won’t harm cats
Does anyone know of any effective ant or insect killer that I can buy that won’t harm cats? I have a colony that I care for and of course it’s ant season and the ants get into the food bowls. I just had to dump about 3 pounds of cat food and about 2 gallons of water because it was absolutely infested with ants. I myself am also allergic to ant and insect bites. The ants are driving me mad and obviously I don’t want them biting the cats either. I don’t have enough money to hire an exterminator so does anyone know of any effective insect killer I can buy that won’t harm the cats? I have to many in the colony to just stash them somewhere plus I have dogs that need to be let outside to go to the bathroom. I’ve tried mixing vinegar and dish soap but I need a product that kills the ants permanently and effectively.
