KG 5.5 King

Hearing this setup is like being at the concert. One set has upgraded crossovers, one set it stock. Crazy sound.

So what's considered RHCP "peak" by the community?

Long time fan, and have listened to them for years. Generally what's the overall vote by the community? Californication, By The Way and Stadium Arcadium do it for me. What are your takes?

Speaker Install

Has anyone here added sound deadening material to the door panels and replaced the four door speakers that are the 6.5" inch ones? What issues did you run into if any?

Which Sienna For Me?

Which Sienna should I get? I’m looking for an AWD model, and I really like the blacked‑out look on the Woodland and the XSE. The only thing holding me back on the XSE is the suspension , I’ve heard it’s not the smoothest for a minivan, and I do want a comfortable ride. Memory seats are a big plus since my partner will be driving it too.I’m also trying to avoid ending up with a $1k payment. I’ve heard the acoustic glass makes a noticeable difference, and the inverter sounds cool, though I’m not sure how often I’d actually use it. I like the JBL audio, and I usually upgrade sound systems anyway, so it’d be nice to buy a van that doesn’t need any audio mods right away. What do you all suggest?

This sub seems like a mixed bag on agreeing on trims, so any real‑world advice would help.

What am I looking at right here?

On marketplace for $150 good deal or nah? What towers are these? Comes with a sub and receiver.

Fight Me!

My KG 5.5s can shake the house and probably get the cops called on me! These speakers are an easy heavyweight contender here. I don't even need a sub with these! Dual towers with four 10" woofers give me all the bass I could ask for, and powered by my Kenwood KA-3500, I can't even get to volume level 5 without it becoming a problem with my house.

Here's the kicker: no loss in sound quality at all. These speakers are top-notch and don't get talked about nearly enough.

Who's a worthy contender in this division?

Note: Klipschorns are in another weight class, so let's keep the comparisons to Klipsch speakers in the same class! (Roughly)

You Ungrateful Basterds

Yeah I spelled it wrong. New album is a trip down memory lane and apparently, that's we're all we're going to get. The new album is a sublime album, like it or not. Jacob sounds just like his Pops, and all I hear is complaining. I wouldn't make another album either.

Don't get me started on Sublime with Rome. That shit was great at times and filled the void for a while. Rome Ramirez is super talented and I'm still playing sublime with Rome these years later.

Point is, quit trying to compare to the O.G. there is no comparison, as Sublime and the whole scene was an enigma, but at least we have what we have now. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Why Klipsch Aren't Making 'Big Dog' Speakers Anymore

These things are beasts, amazing bass, high as fuck highs and are my favorite speakers to listen to over my 'audiophile' speakers. Why aren't they making these anymore? These could probably kick the RP7's in the pants. (KG 5.5's)

They had a good thing going in the 90's then stopped. What's up with that?
