On 5/27/2026 a motion to permanently seal records was filed. By 6/01/2026, it was ordered that even her reply brief in support of that motion be sealed, not just a personal grief declaration, but her actual legal arguments are hidden from public view. Then, approximately two weeks later, she sits down for a highly produced interview on a podcast with six million subscribers to publicly discuss the exact thing she's fighting to keep private in court.

The entire legal foundation of her lawsuit is that public exposure causes irreparable harm and that she wants to grieve privately. Make that make sense.

There's a pretty glaring inconsistency between what's being argued in a courtroom and what's being performed for six million people. Opposing counsel could have a field day with this. A voluntary, highly publicized media appearance is a difficult thing to reconcile with a simultaneous claim of irreparable harm from public exposure.

The sealed reply brief is what really gets me though. It's uncommon for a judge to hide a party's own legal arguments from the public. So we can't see what she's actually telling the court, but we can see exactly what she wants us to see on a podcast. She controls the entire narrative while the legal record stays buried.
She said on the podcast that she waited until she was ready to talk. I'm sure that's true. But it's hard not to notice that "being ready" lined up almost perfectly with having a court order protecting her from scrutiny first.
