Planning a 7-Day Nepal Road Trip in Late November/Early December with Friends – Need Your Suggestions! 🇳🇵🚗

Hey everyone!
Three friends and I are planning a road trip to Nepal by car, most likely starting in the **last week of November or the first week of December**. We’re thinking of spending around 7 days exploring Nepal, enjoying mountain views, trying local food, and experiencing the local culture.
Our tentative route is:
**Pokhara → Mustang → Ghandruk → Kathmandu**

We’re still in the planning stage, so I’d love to hear suggestions from people who have travelled to these places, especially during this time of year.
Here are a few things we need help with:
**Is 7 days enough?** Can we realistically cover all these places in 7 days without rushing too much, considering driving time and road conditions?

**Mustang in late November/early December:** Is it a good time to visit Mustang? How cold does it get, are the roads safe for a regular car, and are hotels and restaurants still open? Would you recommend Upper Mustang or Lower Mustang for this trip?

**Best places to stay:** Please suggest good hotels, guesthouses, or homestays in Pokhara, Mustang, Ghandruk, and Kathmandu. We’re looking for clean, comfortable places with beautiful views that offer good value for money.

**Local food to try:** What are the must-try Nepali dishes and famous local food spots along this route? We’d love to try authentic local food rather than only tourist-oriented restaurants.

**Road trip advice:** We’ll be travelling in our own car. Are there any difficult stretches, road conditions, parking issues, permits, or other things we should prepare for? Any advice about driving in Mustang during winter would be especially helpful.

**Must-visit places:** What are some underrated places, viewpoints, short hikes, or hidden gems along this route that we shouldn’t miss?

**Budget:** What would be a reasonable budget per person for 7 days, including accommodation, food, fuel, permits, and sightseeing?

**Itinerary suggestions:** If you think our route is too ambitious for 7 days, what would you change or skip to make the trip more enjoyable?
We’re three friends looking forward to a memorable road trip, amazing mountain scenery, good food, and a little adventure. Any personal experiences, hotel recommendations, practical tips, or itinerary suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! 🙏

Faridabad → Dehradun Day Road Trip for Food & Views (17th June) – Looking for Suggestions & Travel Buddies

Hey everyone,
My partner and I are planning a 1-day road trip from Faridabad to Dehradun and back around 17th June (date is flexible). The main purpose of the trip is simple: good food, beautiful views, and a relaxed drive.

We’re a couple and would be happy to connect with other couples or female travelers who have done a similar trip and can share recommendations.

A few things we’d love help with:
•Must-try food spots in Dehradun
•Local dishes that are worth driving for
•Cafés or restaurants with great mountain/valley views
•Hidden gems that tourists usually miss
•Best breakfast, lunch, or evening snack stops on the route
Road conditions and parking suggestions
We’re not looking for fancy fine dining—just authentic food, great vibes, and memorable views.
Current shortlist:
Rajpur Road cafés
Old-school bakeries in Dehradun
Mussoorie diversion (if time permits)

If you’re from Dehradun or have recently visited, I’d love to hear your recommendations. Food suggestions are especially welcome!
Thanks in advance, and happy travels! 🚗☕🍜🏔️
