I Almost Got Into a Fight at Work

So, I work at McDonalds as a service member for the window. My Brother got hired at the same job too. We are both college students trying to save up money, so I got him hired where I got a job since it was hard for us both to find employment. Anyways, there is this lady that came into the drive thru today. It the second window, she was getting her food when she complained about missing a hashbrown. My Brother, who worked at the second window, said that she didn't order a hasbrown and she started getting smart. So then, he went and got the manager and the lady started cussing out the manager.

Then, my brother chimed in to defend her. I forget what the lady said but then she started going off on my brother and told him to clock out and come outside. Then, he ran I outside and I ran after him, another service worker was holding him back. The lady was talking shit still and my brother said for her to go and get her son. The lady said that her and her son would 🚬 him and as my brother kept trying to get closer, she ran off the drive thru. I ran outside becauss I was really about to fight this lady.

She threatened my brother and she left a bad taste in my mouth when I first encountered her. A few days prior to this, she got in the line and came up to the first window ans claimed to had been waiting for 12 minutes (which i don't remember even seeing hwr in line). I started reading the next order thinking it was hers and she interrupts me and says "imma stop you right there. I've been sitting in this line for 12 minutes and I didn't order. I'm about to hold up the line". So, I apologized to her and took her order. Unbeknownst to me, that same lady a few days later would call my brother the b word because she was missing some sauce.

That day, my brother stormed out snd said he wasn't coming back. I asked him why and he said some lady disrespected him and management didn't do anything (apparently they couldn't because she had already drove off). I told him the next time she comes around to let me know because I will be the one to serve her since ahe is disrespectful. Whole time, I didn't know this lady was the same lady that tried to hold up the line.

Anyways, today I was heated and I was so ready to fight. Everyone was trying to calm us down and management sent ny brother home for 2 days, paid days BTW, because the lady threatened his life and they were afraid for his safety. So, the supervisor told me the next time she comes back, let management know so the police can be involved and she can be banned from the store.

I rold management verbatim that if she was not banned that I am beating her behind the next time she comes back.

I just don't understand why people think they can talk to fast food or service workers any type of way. She is extremely verbally abusive and a punk becauss the fact that you insult people and threaten people but then drive off tells me you cannot handle yourself as well as you can pop your gums.

And I'm not a violent person but occasionally there is that one person or situation that pushes me out of character. Me and my brother are both respectful so don't treat us like that.

The Police Said I "Matched a Description"

I don't want to immediately declare this as racism, especially when both of the cops were black, but this was so weird. Tell me why I am walking up and down the street and parking lot of my house, and two cops stop me and tell me that I matched the description of a woman that was going around and hitting cars with her purse. They said someone reported anonymously and took my information (Ran my ID, snd took my phone number). They said I wasn't in trouble and they weren't accusing me, but that shit made me so uncomfortable because wtf. I've never been stopped by the cops over something like that.

If they meant accidentally, sometimes you may bump up against someone's car accidentally, especially if the parking space is tight, but I didn't go near anyone's car and there are barely any cars in the space. That doesn't make any sense.

I'm going to assume there is someone else they are talking about but that was so random and I don't like that they ran my id and took my information. And they said the call was like 10 minutes ago from when they started talking to me. The "matching the description" part makes me think someone lied and called the police, probably a racist. Idk.

Edit: I meant to say that the cops were black.

We need to try ro get a law proposed where all student apartment complex perform MANDATORY COMPREHENSIVE BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION checks that show any convictions and give a full history of legal troubles, even if the charges were lifted through diversion programs.

This is unacceptable and CANNOT happen again. Anyone want to collaborate on this?
