One of my favorite IchiRuki doujins of the day
One of my favorite interpretations of IchiRuki kids was from Bleachlight - a fairly old Bleach time travel doujinshi by Laikkuseia.
The two characters were Kuchiki Hisayu, the young Byakuya trainee and prodigy, and her older less fortunate brother, Tsukino, an imperfect hybrid who was born with wildly unstable reiatsu and was sealed up by Soul Society for most of his life. The story had a really cool concept with Tsukino not being a proper Shinigami, but he and his Hisayu’s deep connection allowed him to borrow and use her Zanpakuto.
Unfortunately, the plot of the doujin itself was all over of the place, I think the author was a fellow young teen at that point. Neverthless, the art - especially in the later chapters - was fantastic, and the cast was relatively in-character, which I find a lot of fanfiction struggles with. While Lai deleted her old work, she seems to have worked on the TYBW anime which must be amazing.
I really love their designs and concept, especially Hisayu, and I’ve been using them and Bleachlight as inspiration for a fanfiction series I’m currently writing.
What if the Tecumseh's Confederacy survived 1812 and became an independent federal state?
Assuming it had British protection, at least in the near term, would it survive for very long past the war of 1812, or would it simply just delay its demise?

Looks like this is getting changed
It's no secret that TYBW dropped Ichigo and Rukia's entire relationship like a rock (they only speak once during the entire war, as opposed to even the Fullbring arc where their relationship was front row and center, despite Rukia not being there for most of it).
Fans remember in Chapter 666, Urahara apologizes to Ichigo and Rukia specifically, saying "I leave it all to you". This seemed to suggest there'd be a significant scene for them in the final chapters. Sadly, this did not materialize. We wondered if there was something planned and it got scrapped due to Kubo rushing to end the series.
10 years later, according to the leaks, it looks like the decision was made to change Urahara's dialogue to "Ichigo, Rukia, everyone... I leave it all to you."
Given that Ichigo and Rukia's only interaction was already quite toned down in the TYBW anime, and the addition of Rukia/Renji and Ichigo/Orihime content, this isn't surprising. Kubo seems to have taken the decision to tone any remaining little bit of their relationship down. But it will forever stick out like a sore thumb compared to previous arcs.
