6.72 or 9.00! Help me decide please.

So I bought a PS4 slim at a yard sale the other day for $20. They had no controllers but I have since got 2 controllers and the PS4 works beautiful. To my surprise it had 6.50 firmware on it and I did update it to 6.72 successfully. I have the web exploit running perfectly and it jailbreaks nicely.

My question is my granddaughter will be playing this some as well as possibly other people. I want to have it setup so it is as automatic as possible and no one has to run the browser each time it's loaded. Would going to 9.00 firmware and loading a raspberry pi or esp32 exploit be the best way to do what I want or is there a new exploit for below 9.00 that I am not seeing that will do the same thing?

I have searched and searched and honestly there is so much contradicting results on this but so far everything I am seeing is I need 9.00 to be able to do this.

Thanks for any replies.

BTW, I am using Viggen's right now and it works every time.

CFS Panel for Mainsail on the K2 Plus

Just wanted to share a little something I have thrown together and have been using. It is mainly for just viewing status of cfs and the filament inside from the Mainsail dashboard (sorry, no fluidd). It has a dryer power and timer function that I use for my DIY dryer on a smart plug in my cfs but more than leikely won't work in your use case. It also shows cfs temp and humidity.

If you don't know how to use mainsail on the k2 series then it should be a quick google search.

Optiplex 3050 with 2 x 2.5gb ports

My 3050 micro came with wifi and I am using ssd instead of nvme so I chose to add a couple 2.5gb ports to the setup. Used a m.2 a+e key 2.5gb adapter and a m.2 b+m keyb2.5gb adapter (both Intel i226 chipset). Cut the back out some and 3d printed an adapter to mount the ports to. Works great so far after aboutba week now.

If only they didn't draw so much power!

All are hpe dl360 gen10 with dual xeon 5220 gold and 92gb ram. Dual 10gig sfp as well. They just draw a lot of power and not suitable for my setup.

Looking for used/broken ace pro's

As title says looking to purchase used/broken ace pro's or just parts. Really only looking for the motherboard, heater ducts with the fan and heaters intact, serial board, and power connector but would consider the whole ace pro.

If anyone has anything please let me know.

Btw, I'm in the US.

.6 nozzle

Recently threw in a .6mm hardened nozzle to give a try. First time I've ever tried a .6 nozzle and I am very impressed. Been printing with .30 and even .36 layer height and it's coming out amazing and much faster. Glad I tried it and I suggest everyone at least try it.

Fix for FR2865:Feed issue, filament failed to exit extruder.

If you are getting this error here is what should resolve it.

Go to fluidd and navigate configuration files. Open motor-control.cfg. Look for the following line:

cut_pos_offset: 0.4

It should be close to the top.

Change the 0.4 to 0.0

Save and restart.

Once back up run a cutter calibration again.

This will make the cutter cut .4mm deeper and should cut the filament completely unlike before.

Spacers behind the cutter rod only work until you run another calibration and then the calibration would adjust for the spacer and it would no longer work.

The cutter calibration move the cutter closer and closer to the rod until the motor starts to stall. It then takes that x measurement and added .4 meaning the cutter is backed off the stall position by .4. If you change that to .0 in motor-control.cfg and run cutter calibration it will always go to the stall position and completely cut the filament.

This worked for me and I hope it works for you. Your mileage may vary.
