Looking for other flat riders in WNC
I know it's a long shot, but are there any other flatland riders near Asheville, NC?
Riding with others is always better than riding alone, and I'm tired of riding alone.
(Most everyone here is a trail rider.)
NBD Haro La Bastille
New bike came in on Friday and I finally get to go ride today!
Time to grind it out in a tennis court somewhere.
Happy Sunday, everyone!
Tuesday Night Magic Club is tonight! (MTG)
Elevated Kava West 6-11. Come play or learn. Super chill and all are welcome.
Haro La Bastille complete
Has anybody bought one of the completes? Just trying to get back into flat and do it without breaking the bank. It seems like a pretty solid deal at $599 on flatlandfuel, but you can't beat first hand experience. Mainly I'm wondering how the freecoaster is. I'm gonna use my Graveyard bars on it, ideally, so that's about all that doesn't matter that I'll be replacing.
Have a great Wednesday, my dudes!
New to the sub and looking for a Carom (3 cushion) table anywhere near Asheville, NC
I was fortunate to grow up playing at The Green Room and Carlos Billiard Academy just outside Chicago, and had Adrian Viguera as a teacher for many years. I'm just having trouble finding a table to play at anywhere near me, so if anyone has any leads, it would be most welcome. Even if it's a private joint, I can maybe join.
How many of us are over 40 and still riding?
Like, actually riding and still pushing it as much as is feasible.
Rick is still my favorite rider and is still doing wild shit at 60yo.
Dude, the ring in the hand pic😂
No affordable housing. Best we can do is surveillance state.
wlos.comFirst night session in a decade (44)
Hopped a fence with my buddy last night for some street. It felt good. Might do it again before I turn 50.
Anybody else still hopping fences?
I know this is along shot, but Is anyone wanting to sell one?
21.25", Crow Bars, Odyssey forks for when I wanna run front brakes sometimes. Probably my last frame, because I'm old already and it'll last forever.
As a slightly square shaped person, I am for one ecstatic that baggies are in style again. That skinny jeans fitment sure ain't for everyone.
Also, Tom Penny still rules.
