DC Asks you what you would personally want out of a solo run for a Jason Todd story? What would be your answer?

They should lean into the outlaw aspect more. Irl outlaws during the Wild West like a Jesse James, Curly Bill, Billy the Kid etc would hang west or south so ngl I would want Jason to leave Gotham and go somewhere like Arizona, Texas, closest east I’d take Georgia or Missouri. But Jason should leave Gotham for a story and go after criminal organizations like biker gangs, cartels out in the open country. That would allow him to be brutal and not piss off Batman. I think Jason should have time to develop as a character outside Gotham or the regular Batman inner world but also I don’t think he should have a city. Think like a Jack Reacher scenario where he travels place to place just finding trouble where he goes. That would be my ideal set up for a standalone Jason Todd story.

How tall is each member of a tribe in Chima do you think?

Like as seen in the great story they drink the chi water as normal sized animals and evolve at a rapid paste. Is it something as simple as “their bone structure altered and they became the size of an around average human?” Or is it more like “They are the size of what animal they are if they went bipedal”.

Like how tall would a Lion, Crocodile, Wolf, Eagle ect be if they decided to walk around on two legs? In the eagles case they literally just grew arms out of their body.

Does it bother you this show has two, sometimes even three versions of the same character?

So apparently Thea Queen was inspired more off of Mia Dearden than Emiko Queen from what I hear. But then we actually ended up getting a character named Mia in the show except she was Mia Queen! We also had 3 Black Canaries. 2 were sisters then one died came back went into a Time Machine, then the other one died and stayed dead only for her evil doppelgänger to turn good and take her place and we ended up getting an official Black Canary who also shares a first name with one of the sisters expert that one wasn’t brought up as much. Then Oliver has a kid named William who ISN’T his comics son Connor Hawke but that is instead Diggle’s son.

Like if you had reality warping power and could change stuff up in this show would you get rid of Thea and Mia as characters and just have Thea’s actress be lore accurate Mia Dearden? And rather have 1 or 2 Black Canaries? Like Black Canary is a legacy character I get that, in the comics it’s mother and daughter I believe but here it can be sisters. Instead of Sara and Laurel what if it’s Dinah and Laurel? Just rename Sara as Dinah that way Laurel Lance can be the first Black Canary and die so Dinah (Sara) takes over and can be endgame love interest for Oliver cause screw Ollicity. Want Oliver to bang Huntress, some detective, Isabella and Felicity? Sure. But Green Arrow and Black Canary should’ve been endgame.

Also Connor Hawke should’ve been Oliver’s son instead of Diggle’s.

What’s your ideal Sabretooth Origin?

I view Sabretooth’s backstory as a “choose your own adventure” multiple choice kinda like the Joker’s origin is supposed to be. Regardless we were given a more “detailed” explanation on his backstory and his first meeting with Logan and… ngl I don’t like it.

The one thing that remains consistent from what we knew about his origin before this was he was held captive in a basement by his abusive father who tried to cure him of his mutant condition by pulling out his teeth which would grow back. But the way Origin’s expands on it with Victor killing his Brother Luther over a slice of pie on Luther’s birthday… I prefer it if Victor was an innocent kid with powers who had this terrible sh*t done to him coupled by his mutant powers possibly making him unhinged, violent and barbaric is the reason why he is the way he is.

The way he meets Wolverine is even weirder. Wolverine kills Victor’s brother Saul (who appeared to have the same mutation as Vic) banged Victor’s sister Clara (how many siblings does this man have? I don’t even think their relevant outside this story tbh) then he gets captured by a carnivals apparently helped by Clara who calls in Victor to avenge Saul and the reason for the birthday beating was because Victor did that to Saul and Logan took that from him.

Then also Logan was put into a mental asylum and Victor would work there and torture Logan but Logan would obviously escape. I dunno it feels all over the place.

My preferred origin is this. Victor Creed was an only child who suffered abuse from his father because he was a mutant. At one point possibly broke out a killed his father. Would live a life as a savage ruffian up until entering the Weapon X program where he would first meet Logan. And when they implanted fake memories in the both of them they added the stuff about brothers and sisters, carnivals and asylums all to make Victor hate Logan and vice versa because they wanted their two worst animals to be feral 24/7 and make them compete to be the best.

I don’t know if that interferes with lore my X-Men is shabby. X-Men honestly feels like a whole new world compared to regular Marvel.

But what do you guys think? Personally in Sabretooth’s case I don’t like the “he was kinda evil from the start, the end” route. I like to think if he had a life similar to Logan or life had been more forgiving to him maybe he could’ve not turned out to be a murderer waste of psychopath? But that’s wishful thinking I suppose.

Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
