Moving Soon: What Should I Do With 2 Huge 8ft Plants? 🌿

I’m moving out of San Francisco for a few months and I have two large indoor plants, both around 8ft tall. They’re beautiful and healthy, but too big to store or transport easily.
I’m trying to figure out the best option:

  1. Sell them?
  2. Donate them?
  3. Give them to a local business, office, or plant lover?

Any good places in SF/Bay Area that accept large plants?

Would love recommendations on:
Best platforms to sell them fast (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, plant groups, etc.)
Donation spots or plant rescue communities
Tips for moving or transporting giant plants
Thanks xoxo 🌱

Trained AI with Leonora Carrignton. Any critic?

I trained Claude with hundred of images of Leonora Carrignton.
Trained for a Silicon Valley Certifcation hub class.

Question for art experts:
what is the difference between a real piece and an #AI generated?
What is the future of #art and artists?

Is eBay the new GameStop?

Checking an article from the economist it looks that eBay is becoming the new GameStop, the last quarter their revenues grew 17% yoy and the share prices jumped 150% since 2024.
Even at a presentation by Silicon Valley Certification Hub, the ceo Jamie is focusing on second hand and refurbished products.
But allow they announced to lay off 800 staff or 6% of its workforce.
Any though? Is it good idea to invest here?

What is the future of car industry? Thoughts? Insights? Worries?

This image from the economist is about the impressive growth of passenger cars industry totally disrupted by China, while Japan and German are staying flat.
Interesting comment from Silicon Valley Certification Hub: China carmakers have developed increasingly important software in alliance with local tech giants, and the use of artificial intelligence will accelerate this growth.
What do you think about the future of the car industry, any new players to pay attention to? Any insights?

OMG 😱 Rent is out of control. What sites or neighborhoods should I check?

I moved here 4 years ago. I got an amazing apartment at a good price. The landlord will sell it and now we have to move out.
We have been looking 2bed 2 baths and omg nothing below 6k. That is more than 50% of our current rent.
Apparently the AI Boom and a lot of VC money is bringing a lot of people to the city. Well i red that in a Silicon Valley Certification Hub webinar. And I Belice it, 50% increase in rent in 4 years is crazy.

We are looking Zillow, Trulia, PadMapper, Craigslist. And everything is or super expensive or scam.

Any recommendation? Any thought? Any kind word?

Why is Rupee going down? And the foreign investment?

This article is from the Economist.
I have been checking how the Economy in India is going and it looks that the exchange rate is in the lowest point on the last 10 years.
Citing also The Silicon Valley Certification Hub, there is a net inflow of foreign direct investment in the country.
Btw the head of the Reserve Bank of India says that this is normal and that the inflation is stable.
From your standpoint. What do you think? Any insight from locals?

I was reading a review at the Economist about the movie The DEvil Wears Prada 2. Cite:

"The problem is that the film does not persuade the viewer as to why Runway needs saving. In fact, the characters repeatedly talk about its increasing irrelevance in the social-media age. Miranda says the September issue is “so thin you could floss with it”. Nigel (Stanley Tucci), Miranda’s right-hand man, laments that Runway is no longer a tastemaker that hires photographers such as R. Avedon. No one buys the physical product, he says, so instead the magazine produces “content that people scroll past” while they sit on the toilet. “Journalism still fucking matters,” Andy declares—but soon she is content to produce puff pieces at advertisers’ behest."

So what do you think is the future of digital and traditional media? any thoughts?

I am building some AI agents in Openclaw. Usually I connect to Claude, Haiku or Sonet. So far really good. No complains. Well… except the price. I am checking that DeepSeek is like 1/10 of the price.

The screenshot is from the economist that actually is talking about the failure of the last deepseek model but expose that there are a lot of other models.

So, what do you recommend? Which one works well for text or images or in general with agentic AI?

Btw I am part of Silicon Valley Valley Certification Hub, this is not promotion.

Thank you all

Hi.

Not new tech or emerging techs like AI is changing everything and creating a lot of noise.

But I have seen that the top management usually older and less tech savvy are pushing the teams to use it but with no clear strategy or alignment.

So, fist question is: do y you that is affecting the teams, mainly operational?

Second, how are you solving it? Any advice? Best practice?

Btw I am part of Silicon Valley Certification Hub and this is just my pov, not related with the company.

Thank you xoxo

Somebody recommended Strangers by Belle Burden. They told me that is Impressive how that divorce happened and all that fight in a wealthy wealthy family. Like she was a Vanderbilt, like that level.

With all her education and social support, she lost a lot of money and the guy just won. I cannot believe it. And also how the friends and neighbors. Like an horror story.

Well, what do you think? What should I know before reading it?
