Every time I log onto the internet, someone is telling me I need to buy gifts for someone else at MY wedding. Your wedding parties don’t need gifts, I do understand asking them to be in your wedding party, I’m talking about a second (???) gift. Your parents don’t need a gift. Your siblings don’t need a gift. The vendors don’t need a gift.

At least once a day, I see someone asking “what are we getting insert person as a gift for the day of the wedding?” NOTHING.

We have turned being a bride or groom into kissing the ass off all the guests. I’m already throwing a party with food, drinks, good music, dessert, all of which you don’t have to pay for.. why on earth would I give people gifts for simply showing up?

I want to gift my husband something sentimental and that’s it. Everyone else’s gift is the gift of us getting married lol
