Who else had their August flights cancelled today?

We had our flight from Sanford, FL to Bangor, ME cancelled today. Seeing several others received cancelled flight notices for August as well. Just wondering who else had this happen and what routes?

Customer service told me "The flight is capped and we're no longer flying that day". Whatever that means. LOL

How long to explore the lower part of Old Quebec?

I have received some feedback on our itinerary and a couple people said I have too much time planned for the lower portion of Old Quebec. My plan was to leave our hotel around 10:30 or 11:00 (staying about 15 minutes out), get dropped off at the Fairmont and then take the funicular down. I figured we would then explore:

  • Quartier Petit Champlain
  • Notres Dame des Victoires
  • Place Royale
  • Old Port
  • Museum of Civilization

We then have dinner reservations at Sapristi (Champlain) at 5:30 followed by the Ghost Tours of Quebec at 8:00.

I planned on just taking our time, stopping as we want to explore the shops, take photos, and probably grab a coffee and a snack at some point. Does that sound okay?

My husband isn't necessarily keen on the trip, so while I don't want to feel like we're just rushing place to place, at the same time, I also don't want to find ourselves with so much downtime that we're left wondering what to do with ourselves.

Thoughts on this Itinerary?

We will be in Quebec City next week for a few days. It will be our first time visiting the city. Our goal is really just to stroll and explore - pop into shops, cafes, sit and people watch, while obviously, still actively seeing certain sights. This is what we had planned (note: restaurant choices are specific due to Celiac).

Thursday: late arrival, so we plan to Uber in from our hotel to Julio Taqueria for a later dinner.

Friday: we plan to Uber to the Plains of Abraham and explore there, visit the gardens, then take the Promenade down to Dufferin Terrance. Just take our time, stroll, probably pop into the Chateau (we tried to get a tour but they're fully booked). We also want to pop into Notre Dame de Quebec and just stroll Rue Ste Jean shops. We have dinner booked at Bistro Hortus.

Saturday: we plan to explore Lower Old Quebec. So, Place Royale, Quartier Petit Champlain, etc... I'd like to go to the Museum of Civilization, maybe pop into Pub L'Oncle Antoine at some point for an afternoon pick me up. We have dinner booked at Sapristi (Champlain location) followed by the Ghost Tours of Quebec.

Sunday: we're headed to Ste Anne de Beaupre and Montmorency Falls before driving home.

Does this look okay? As I said, our goal isn't to rush around, more to just stroll leisurely. Anything you would add or change?

My daughter is visiting Bora Bora next week on a school trip and is gluten free. Are there any gluten free food options?

Was hoping some GF locals might know.

NMIP.

If this helps with my past questions of what season I am, these are the neutrals I have in my closet. A beige, pure black, pure white, and cool Grey.

Which of these are best? I feel like the black is definitely not good? It makes me look yellows??

NMIP!

Okay, the consensus was I am a soft, and while most said autumn, several said summer, and then said they need to see more drapes to decide.

So this is it - I have raided everyone's closets, I've used towels, curtains, even my daughter's Tigger teddy bear. I'm pretty sure my husband thinks I've lost my mind. 🤣

So, here are more colors, I hope this helps, because there are no more colors left in this house!

And in the other post someone asked if this is my natural hair color amd the answer is yes!

Okay, take two on what color am I???

NMIP.

Pale skin, freckles in summer, prone to red blotchy tones, hazel eyes, hair can look redder or blonder depending on the lighting, and I can tell just from taking these photos, white, peach, and pink don't seem to do me any good. 🤦‍♀️🤣 And....I hate photos of myself. Lol.

Photos start with black and white, go through a few colors I have, and then end with some reds.

Would love to know what palette I am to better choose clothes.

Depending on the lighting, my hair can look quite different - and seem warmer or cooler (sometimes reddish highlights show more, sometimes blonde). My eyes are a hazel-ish color. I have pale skin with lots of freckles in the summer. I am definitely prone to uneven reddish tones.

I know red is not a good color for me. But, colors like navy or an emerald green do seem to work well and especially seem to make the blonder tones in my hair pop.

Looking to revamp my wardrobe so I would love to know what color palette I shoukd be sticking with.
