Isn't Trump supposed to be ensuring we dont let China pull ahead of us?

Trumpy had been singing and tap dancing how we cant let China get ahead of us in the AI race. He also wants to make sure they dont beat us economically. And in any other way for that matter.

Hegseth recently cut the top brass in the military by 10% Now he is wants to cut top brass by another 20%.

Doesn't Trump and Hegseth realize thst while we cut our military, our enemies are still increasing theirs? Don't they realize that experience in the military cant be taught? It can only be learned.

Am i asking how MAGA can even BEGIN to support this? Am i asking how can Republican Senators even PRETEND to support this? Am I asking where is this bonehead move going to take us next?

IDK where to start lol

Unique Items Question

I have been playing D2R for a long time now. I get magic and unique items, as we all do, and if its nothing that interests me, it goes on the ground for another player or sell it to Charsi.

The other day I was on this thread and a player posted a pic of a unique item and everyone was going ape shit over it. Don't remember what it was. I said to myself, "Self, you had that exact item last week and got rid of it. Did you make another bonehead mistake?" Probably.

That got me to wondering. What are some of the best unique items you have found and kept? I know its different for each class...say....staff of Lazarus for sorceress or bone breaker for barbarian etc. Skin of Viper Magi is a good example.

What are some of the best unique you can get? Anything in your inventory thats beyond good?

Thanks for your time 🙏 friends 🧡

How long will it take for America to recover from all the damage this administration had done to our Allies?

I apologize if this had been asked in this thread already. I know everyone will have fun and take jabs at things but I am asking a serious question here.

It has taken hundreds of years and thousands of diplomatic hours for us to be where we are at with our allies. The work we have done with NATO, the humanitarian aid we provide during disasters, military aid when friends are invaded. The list goes on.

I feel that in the matter of a year, this administration has done so much damage to our relationships with our allies...the tarrifs on Canada, the revoking of Visas, the attack on higher education, the dismantling of agencies that are supposed to look out for you and I, the list goes on.

How do we recover form this? The rest of the world has looked at America unfavorably for some time and now so even more. I work with a lot of people from other countries. They come to work with is for 3 to 5 years then go back to their country to continue their work. All of my friends in these other countries tell me what the views of us are now and its not favorable.

I will ask again. How long will it take for us to repair the damage that has been done?

I appreciate you and your time

How do you deal with passive aggressive users?

Maybe this is a complaint but professional advice would be appreciated.

Long story short, I have a user who is a mid-tier supervisor in her area over a few staff. She is supervisor to the group but not considered a supervisor if that makes sense.

Whenever there is an IT problem in her area, she doesn't just send an email or put in a ticket that program x or device y isnt working, she sends an email that program x isnt working AGAIN or, device y has issues AGAIN. On top of that, she always cc's managers or superiors who are indeed above both of us.

As an example, 3 days back, program x, which is hosted on a client on or VM server, stopped working. For some reason, the host machine was shut down. Not a big deal. Restart the machine, inform user what happened, Bob's your uncle. Yesterday, program x went down again. This time, there was a time discrepancy on the client and the server and it took a little bit to figure out that was the problem. Fixed issue. Bobs your uncle.

The way I found out software wasn't working was an email with senior staff cc'd that the program wasn't working AGAIN.

I feel that her emails are passive aggressive towards me but I could be overreacting. Im not sure why senior staff are cc'd when there's a problem but she certainly doesn't send emails about any of the issues I have a win on.

Am i overreacting? Do you guys have issues like this or advice? Even if that advice is im being Jerky McJerkenstien of the Royal Douchery.

Edit here: Thanks for all the responses. Just to be clear this is o ly one example of the users emails. In this particular case, the user shut down the client last time she logged in to it instead of logging off. The next tk.e she went to log in, the client was unreachable since it was off. I have since disabled the shut down button on the client to prevent accidently shut down .

Member of Vance's protective detail subject of investigation. Why are we not outraged about the real issue here?

MSNow is reporting that secret service members are frustrated for all the short notice travel issues for JD Vance, stating that one day, secret service members had to hustle to get Vances son to a golf lesson so they took him in a helicopter to the golf lesson.

Senior staff is upset that there was a "leak" and that the protectee can be potentially compromised.

Shouldn't the outrage be that tax payers are flipping the bill for helicopter rides to golf lessons for Vance's son? This is the tip of the iceberg. What other things are happening on the taxpayer dime that we dont know about?

Im asking a serious question here. Why aren't MAGA's outraged about helicopter rides instead of investigating secret service members?

Trump says that America is more rich than it has ever been and we are all doing great

Sorry if this is not the forum for this but I seriously want to know. According to Trump and his administration we are supposed to be better off then we have ever been.

Are you or anyone you know truly doing better or are better off than you were two years ago? Are you making more money then ever before? Was your tax return after the big beautiful bill more than it was last year?

For what its worth, my tax return was $10 more this year so im not sure what everyone else saw.

Im asking this question to see if anyone is truly better off from two years ago.

Why do users insist on horrible email titles?

Just needed to complain.

Why do users insist on sending me emails titled "Question about our computers" or "I have a question for you" or "I have a problem"

It drives me batty when people cant put the subject of the email in the email. I use my emails to assist with tasks. If its in my inbox, I need to do something about it. Once the task in the email is complete, I file it away in the appropriate folder. If the email is about a problem with a specific software, it gets filed in the folder with all the emails about that software. "I have a question for you" means nothing to me when im trying to find an old email.

Am i in the wrong here? Im I being anal retentive? Maybe I just needed someone to hear me.

Maybe a month ago, I would sign on to PSN and battlenet and there would be 30 games to join. Now im lucky if I see 3 games and they always created by the same players. Probly leveling up.

What happened to everyone? How come nobodies playing D2R on PS5? Is the season winding down or something?
