Do I need to take a connecting train from Tamien station to Palo Alto station?

Hi, I've never rode caltrain before so please excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject.

I am going to the BTS concert at Stanford stadium on Tuesday, and I saw that the Tamien station offers free parking, so I hope y'all could answer my questions regarding riding caltrain:

  1. Do I need to take a connecting train from Tamien station to Palo Alto station? I am a little confused looking at the website, so I don't know if I need to get off one train and jump back onto another train at the San Jose diridion station.

  2. If there is a connecting train that I need to take, do I need to pay extra? I plan on just buying a day pass, so I assume I don't need to pay extra to take different trains, but I just want to make sure.

  3. According to the caltrain website, the last train to depart Palo Alto station after the concert at night is at 11:27 pm. I will be heading southbound towards Tamien station then, so would that train go all the way to Tamien station or do I again have to take a connecting train?

  4. Again, if there is a connecting train needed to be taken after the concert has ended, would the connecting train still be running that late at night, or would there be no more connecting trains by then? The concert is set to end by 10 pm, but given the time I have to walk and wait in line at the station, I probably won't be on the train until maybe 10:30 or 11:00 pm. If there is no connecting train available, then perhaps it's better that I go to the Diridion station instead, since that one seems like there is no connecting train at all need.

  5. Is there still available parking at Tamien station or San Jose Diridion station around 2:00-2:30 pm on Tuesday? I plan on arriving and parking there around that time.

Thanks!

Skin 1004 Water Fit Sun Serum Vs. Skin Aqua Super Moisture UV Gel

Hi I have combo (Oily T Zone and normal cheeks) sensitive acne prone skin and was wondering which is the better choice btwn the 2 sunscreens?

I've heard great reviews for the skin 1004 water serum, however I'm leaning more towards the skin Aqua uv gel more just because there's a lot more product in the skin Aqua one and it's silicone free which is great for my water based makeup.

I like to wear this under makeup too, so I don't want it to pill, break me out, and preferably be sweat and waterproof/resistant too (I feel like this is such a handful to request 😅)

Any opinions or suggestions are welcomed!

Sunscreen Reccs for Makeup?

Hi I have combination (oily T Zone and normal cheeks), sensitive, acne prone skin and was wondering what sunscreen would you all recommend to wear under and over makeup?

I use the Nars reflecting light foundation, which is water based, so I'm worried about the pilling of sunscreen where most sunscreens are silicone based.

I would also like my sunscreen to be strong and waterproof/resistant. I heard some sunscreens aren't effective, and I live in California so usually where I am it's hot and baking here, especially for the summer.

I was also wondering how everyone reapplies sunscreen every 2 hours without smudging makeup?

I heard spf sprays and sticks are proven to be ineffective, and thought about using spf cushions instead. But some people also say spf cushions are so overpriced and given so little amount that it's not really worth buying. So in that case, would it still be effective just to buy a regular tube of sunscreen, put some sunscreen on my hand, get a sponge/puff, and just apply it all over my face? Kinda like a cushion, except minus the cushion packaging and I actually get to have more sunscreen available than in a cushion, if that makes sense.

Open to new suggestions too!

Hi I need a urine drug screening test and TB blood test for my schooling (not by employer). I was calling several urgent cares around me, and they all told me it's either the employer that pays for it (in my case, this is for school and not employment, so obviously no employer is gonna pay for it) or I have to pay out of pocket because they do not go through insurance for this. And of course paying out of pocket is really expensive.

So I was wondering, do I have to just suck it up and pay out of pocket, or is it cheaper to go through my PCP with my insurance and just ask the Dr to order the tests so I don't have to pay as much? I also feel like it's odd to just go straight to the Dr just to ask for 2 tests, but if that's what I have to do to save on money then I guess so.
