Platinum is 👎

I'm driving 50% less miles and making $20 an hour, on a weekday too. Wow! I will gladly drive on 20+ miles for $40. I declined, get this, 9, NINE IN A ROW, long distance and out of zone.

Man, I was a sucker for doing these runs doing what I can to keep my Platinum rating, both lunch and dinner, driving 60+ miles daily. No more dd. 🖕 U!

Quads are back here.

This offer just appeared. I ignored it and it then disappeared.

About a minute later, it reappeared. I guess the shopper changed their mind?

Then it too disappeared, only to reappear again, about a minute later, to suddenly disappear again, come back sorta changed, reappeared to finally disappear and never come back.

Quad orders roulette. Interesting.

Ok I listened to ya'll. Wow!

Instead of me trying to get back to Platinum, after sleeping on it, I decided to listen to ya'll and start declining all the 💩 offers tonight as an experiment.

And look what happened. Holy 🐄!

- Received 10 offers tonight.

- Declined 5 that totalled 55 miles one-way, two offers out of my zone too.

- Accepted 5 that totalled only 27.9 miles one-way, half the distance of the above declined.

- Two of the five offers were High paying offers since I'm still Silver.

- The other three were normal offers. Very interesting!

- AR went from 64 to 59.

SUMMARY:

- Used two gallons of gas tonight. HUGE GAIN!

- Drove around 60 miles totalled.

- Doubled my revenue too.

Granted it was a busy Friday night here too.

But like others told me. Keep declining until you find one you like. Eventually DD algorithm has no choice but to offer you one because either all the higher rated drivers are busy (unavailable) and DD is under a deadline to meet too.

Day Two tomorrow night here, same strategy. We shall see. Hth helps others. ✌️

After two years Platinum, finally lost it today. 😔

Started the year mid 90% range.

Hung in there, but slowly over the next two months started dropping towards mid 80% range by end of Feb.

Mar thru Apr, daddled up and down till settling at 75%.

Started May, see-sawing back up to 80%, then suddenly started a nose dive past two weeks down to 70% today.

Today, I started my lunch shift and in only 1 hour and 44 minutes, down to 64%.

I knew it was forthcoming from the pattern above and reading the bad news here too.

Like I posted in IC groups, I am refusing all long miles, low tip deliveries now, since fuel prices have more than doubled.

1 - $4.15 for 12 miles

2 - $6.45 for 14 miles Zone B

3 - $8 for 12 miles

4 - $12.30 for 17 miles Zone B

5 - $13.25 for 18 miles Zone B

6 - $10.75 for 13 miles Zone B

I rarely receive an offer in another zone and being Platinum you would think we should be rewarded.

Right? Nope. Forced to drive back without any orders.

We are definitely losing money now if we took them, especially out of Zone A (my home) into Zone B.

Another grip. We shouldn't be getting these offers (see above) when we are Platinum too.

What chaps my hide is I receive a few 💩 offers in a row before I finally receive a High paying offer!, complete it and back to receiving more 💩 offers.

Who the hell here is taking all these offers? Ya'll losing 💰 doing so, unless you have a hybrid.

Would it be in my favor to EBT now to get it back?

So that's my rant! Appreciate ya'll listening.

Thinking of buying a "brand new" salvage title RV trailer

Hail damaged exterior. I can live with that. Either a Forest River - Ozark 2026 or a Salem 2024, 22RBSX

Insurance company said they will Insure everything except damaged exterior sides as long as photos are submitted.

Insides are brand new. Never been used. Mattress still wrapped. Sold as is though. No warranty.

They are willing to power it up to test everything. I could save thousands vs today's retail lots.

Anyone else do this?

Hello fellow shoppers. I sent this to the instacart customer reddit and wanted to share with you.

I am now seeing quads daily. I had enough.

* * *

I am now losing 💰 on those deliveries out of my zone.

You know who you are here ordering from a store outside your local community.

I see plenty of them here, being forced to decide, accept or decline. Then those I accept, I deliver, usually a triple batch, one pays the other order because the other order is either a low tipper or worse, $0.00, and then want to know what is worse?

I have to drive the same miles back into my zone before I receive another offer.

I average 30 mpg too which means I try my best to accept 15 miles or less deliveries one-way.

And IC knows the local drivers are going to refuse these out of town deliveries so they then send them to us, drivers near the grocery stores and now we're forced to long-haul deliver to you out of town.

And now Instacart is batching four orders now. Wtf?

Not anymore, at least for me. ✌️

Hey fellow drivers. I sent this to the customer's (doordash reddit group) and wanted to share with you. I had enough of it all.

First, the smaller zones, continued low tippers and now unleaded broke $4 here. 🐝 safe out there

First time here I believe this high. Usually was in the $60-$80 range.

And avg batch pay today per each order was:

$9.71

$8.46

$10.30

$16.33 ÷ 2

$17.83 ÷ 2

$11.80

$9.46

$6.94

$18.83 ÷ 2

$10.07 ÷ 2

$11.96 ÷ 3

$9.13 ÷ 2

$9.57 ÷ 2

$12.46 ÷ 2

$11.61 ÷ 3

$6.06

So with batch pay so freaking high, we will be lucky to make what, maybe $50 difference?
