Should you call guys your age “bro/brother”?

Recently moved here and I know that obviously you call older people “auntie” and “uncle,” but I’ve also noticed that lots of people call girls around their age or younger “sis/sister.” Now I’m curious if you should call guys your age or younger “bro/brother”? Or “cousin”? Sorry if this is a stupid question!!

How to make friends in a new place where you’re kind of an outsider?

It’s a really long story about how I got into this situation, but to sum it up: grew up Mormon (not really anymore), had basically the same friend group since middle school so I havent really had to practice making new friends in a long time, and now all my friends but 1 are on Mormon missions so I obviously can’t hang out with them anymore cause they’re gone, so I recently moved to a new town and
A.) it’s mostly Mormon
B.) most everyone my age goes to the same local college (I don’t go to it)
C.) I am very much an ethnic/cultural minority (very diverse but I’m Hispanic and most other people are AAPI and many international student)

I’m not really super interested in going back to church (not many other options for denominations here) and most of my coworkers that I work directly with are men that fall into the above categories and we all have very different interests so I have a hard time relating with them about anything. I try to get to know them but it kind of feels like they don’t really want to talk to me? It’s not like I can join clubs on campus either because again I don’t go to that college. It’s a very small town so there’s not a lot of places to go to meet people? Idk I just really want to meet some girls to be friends with that have some similar interests to me but I’m worried that I’m not gonna have a lot of options. Any advice? Is there a way to approach people without it being weird? Is my best shot just to suck it up and go to church just to meet people? Idk please help!!

TLDR: move to a new town, nothing in common with most people here, need help figuring out how to meet people (girls specifically) with similar interests so I can make friends

New Mexican nursery rhyme?

My family is Northern New Mexican (I’ve never lived there and have only visited once) and there’s this nursery rhyme (?) my grandma used to sing to us that I haven’t been able to find anything about online so I’m wondering if it’s just something our family made up?

It goes like this (more or less I don’t speak Spanish very well)

Una vieja, mujer vieja
Se cago en un jomate
Y ella dijo a todos niños
Ven y come chocolate

[Routine Help] constantly oily skin help?

I recently moved from a city with a relatively humid climate (50-75% humidity on average) to a city with an extremely humid climate (70-80% average humidity) and it is KILLING my skin.

Before, I had average (leaning dryish) skin and my routine was simply to rinse with water in the morning, wash at night (using Cetaphil daily cleanser), and moisturize at night (CeraVe pm moisturizer lightweight). Never had any issues.

Now, I have to wash fist thing in the morning, rinse in the middle of the day, wash again at night, and sometimes even rinse again after that because my face gets ridiculously greasy so fast it drives me crazy. I was originally moisturizing after washing, but that made it worse so I started diluting the moisturizer (didn’t help), and now I don’t use it at all. I now also use Cetaphil for normal-oily skin.

Any advice on other products to try? Or is this something that will go away as I adjust to it? I’ve only lived here two weeks so I’m trying not to change things too quickly in case it’s just a matter of acclimating.

(Another note: I touch my face a lot when I’m stimming. It’s something I’ve been trying to stop for my entire life, but unfortunately it’s probably never going to stop. It’s never negatively impacted my skin before. Currently my hands are the only thing I moisturize, could that be a factor?)
