SRAM Eagle Transmission X0 AXS – Rear axle stuck
Hi everyone,
I have a SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission AXS rear derailleur.
I’m trying to remove the rear wheel, but the rear axle is extremely tight. It was already quite hard to turn from the very beginning, but I tried to keep turning it counterclockwise and it gradually became harder and harder. Now it moves only a tiny amount and is extremely difficult to turn, almost completely stuck.
I don’t want to force it too much because I’m worried about damaging the frame, axle, or threads.
I also noticed something that concerns me: the two reference marks/notches on the Transmission mount don’t appear to be aligned (see the photos, marked in red).
I’m wondering:
Could the misalignment of these marks be related to the problem?
Is it possible that I somehow installed the rear wheel incorrectly the last time?
Could the Transmission mount have rotated or moved?
Is there a specific procedure to safely release the axle in this situation?
Should I avoid applying more force to the axle?
Since the axle was already stiff at first and became progressively harder to turn as I continued counterclockwise, could something be binding internally?
The bike was working normally before, and I only noticed the issue when I tried to remove the rear wheel.
