He started very slightly pineconing 2 weeks ago and I immediately put him in a hospital tank and used Sulfaplex. I have done over 10 salt baths now as well but unfortunately the pine coning is now all over his body, head down.

The nitrites in his hospital tank were spiked for 3 days so I decided to move him back into his main tank

It’s now been 3 days since he’s been in his main tank but whats confusing about this is that his belly isnt swollen like most betta with dropsy

I know he’s going to pass - I’m desperate to bring him back to health but he’s been having so much trouble staying up, and now his breathing is heavier :(

I feel like he’s suffering but every euthanasia method has been proven to cause pain and I can’t bring myself to do them.

I bought it second hand so I want to start with the portafilter - biggest issue I’m running into is the manual doesn’t have any size specifications so I’m hoping someone out here has had this or a similar machine and can recommend a good replacement

I just bought a Calphalon Temp IQ with a built in grinder, Previous user had it for 2 years.

It works really well but after a few drinks I’m starting to taste the build up/muck. This is my first big machine so I have no clue where that taste could actually be coming from

I did try unscrewing the back of the portafilter and soaked the metal pieces in a vinegar/water solution with a few drops of dish soap

Now it tastes worse, so I’m considering getting a new portafilter since it is used, but would I benefit from just getting a store bought machine-cleaning powder?

Id like to use something more natural, but I always have this same experience with it tasting worse lol
