If you look perpendicular to the hill and spam jump while strafing up, you can hop up many steep inclines that you normally couldn't. Two particularly useful places to do this are the main building in Quarantine and on the elevator ramps in Night Marsh Complex. It doesn't work as well on Vandal or Destroyer because they have double jumps, but it can be done on them too. Here's a clip of Drewsky doing it in Quarantine.

This is by far the best cryo archive beginner guide that I've been able to find. The others were a little too rushed, disorganized, left important bits out, or were unnecessarily long. I also highly recommend checking out SeraphMax's other videos, his content is purely for teaching people about the game and he always gets right to the point. The only thing I wish he had expanded on was final exfil, but I think I'll just make a guide to that one in text/picture format and post it here later. Hopefully folks find this helpful.
