We are looking at moving to piece of property I currently own. Are goal is to be mortage free but our budget around 200k turn key including well and septic.

The county requires the home be a minimum of 1500sq ft and a double wide (no single wides allowed)

My ? Are

1. Is possible on our budget?
2. Which brands should we be looking at ?
3. What’s the deal with buying from manufacturer no less then 500 miles from you ? I keep seeing this over and over but no explanation. Does it have something to do with transporting?

Am looking to talk to somebody who does turn key Barndominiums in central west Georgia.

My daughter is level one but has struggled thru middle school both socially and academically. While 6th grade was rough socially. She did better grade wise but, in 7th grade she did better socially and far worse academically ( she passed but with very low grades ). Now we are thinking about possible homeschool for high school since it’s more important she does well grade wise in high school than middle. Our one hold back is the area we live in is rural and we aren’t very social people so her being homeschooled would cut her off social quite a bit.

Our living room and Kitchen are the most used rooms in our house but in so many layouts the kitchen seems to be an afterthought. Shoved in some corner with no thought given to flow or storage needs.
