Runeard attacked the Northuldra because he was fearful of magic. However, the secret room in the castle implies someone in Arendelle used to know a lot about magic.

This could mean a lot of things, but my theory is someone in the past tried to study magic to take over the throne. Maybe it's even the guy in the cat portrait, that's why his painting hides the entrance to the room.

Another theory is Runeard himself knew about the magic and wanted to keep it for himself, but I think that's less likely.

I can’t believe I did it. It’s been something I’ve been trying to do on and off for over 5 years now. Decided to lock in a grinding session when I got bored of having no internet. I definitely got bailed out by an easy Sunset Speedway with generous checkpoints, but I’m very proud of myself regardless.

Also the mushroom level should be deleted from the game.

Needed 3 heroes for ranked so I’ve been starting to learn Paradox. Got me thinking about her identity under the helmet.

Set up trick room and skill swapped Thick Fat away from my Mega Venusaur. Softened me up for the Mega Emboar in the back. My first time seeing Mega Emboar on the ladder. It was a fun match even though I lost. I hope you’re having a good day with your cool team

I only played season 1 for a few days on launch. After I reached Master Ball twice, I stopped playing entirely. Have not been keeping up with the meta developments at all.

Yesterday, I came back to Champions to play the new season. Successfully reached Master Ball doubles again, but one thing I noticed is the glaring lack of Incineroar. I could count on one hand the number of players I've fought who had that stupid cat on their team. I still saw a lot of the "staple" mons I remember from season 1 (Sneasler, Kingambit, Basculegion, Charizard, Floette, etc) but not Incineroar.

Did anything happen to the meta to make Incin fall out of favor? Or is it just a case of everybody bringing a counter to Incin because he's so powerful?
