I’ve tried a few salons but nothing has really stood out to me. Was wondering if anyone had a salon or tech they recommend in the area!!

I used to write all the time and really loved it, but life has gotten in the way and I keep pushing it off. I want to join a chill writing group with no stakes or pressure to share what I write. All levels welcomed please! Preferably a group that simply just meets, is given a topic or prompt, and time is set aside to all collectively write. No expectations other than a group that sits and writes together during an allotted time :)

25F. I was diagnosed with PCOS this January 2026 after having my IUD removed September 2025. I started getting horrible acne, intense cravings especially for sugar, digestive issues (bloating, not losing weight despite eating clean and exercising) and still no period. Don’t get me wrong I’m by no means overweight, but there is some stubborn fat that I still want to lose. I also have terrible mood swings and close to no sex drive.

I went to the gyno and got my ultrasound results that confirmed cysts on my ovaries and a PCOS diagnosis. I decided to see an Endocrinologist because the gynos only solution was going on birth control, which I did not want to do again. I also began acupuncture specifically for PCOS in January.

My endocrinologist did bloodwork to see what was going on. Extremely low LH (0.3L), low ACTH (<5), Estrogen was <30. Other than that everything looked normal, including other hormones. She started me on Ovasitol and have been using it since January. My cravings are still pretty bad, my acne is terrible especially around my forehead, and I still have not had a period. I’m at a loss on what to do or ask my endocrinologist about next appointment. She said that if I don’t have a period by our appointment at the end of June, then she would administer estrogen pills to induce a period.

I’m worried that the estrogen pills will only make my acne worse, my mood swings worse, and my body image issues even more intense. I’m also at a loss for what to do and try next. I’m wondering if anyone has had similar experiences and what worked for them!
