Lost Carcosa
"A lost kingdom,
Set beneath a bitter sun,
Waves crash against broken shores,
Undone."

One photobashed piece and a 3D Render made in Blender. There is a noticeable lack of yellow in the render, but if you invert the colours...
I don't have a title yet. I'm a writer who just wings it, for better or for worse. Please let me know any feedback you might have! I have experience writing, but not with screenwriting or scriptwriting at all, for that matter. This is also my first time writing anything in this genre, really.
"Veritas ultra rationem iacet.
Et ratio ultra veritatem.
Quia in mundo geminis solibus inlustrato,
Persona decidit."
^(Ambience made in full by myself.)
“I dream of a sleeping world where endless black sand stretches across a windless shore. A sky circling with twin suns, and weeping dark stars. Where endless spires pierce the heavens, and the shadows lengthen unending. Am I the dreamer, or the dreamed? — The Diary of Raoul Adnet”
^(PS. Genuine coincidence that the last few posts have a character named Raoul too lmao)
THE KING IN YELLOW
ACT 1 - SCENE 1
Enter CAMILLA and CASSILDA.
CAMILLA: Hail, sister.
CASSILDA: Hail.
CAMILLA: Tonight it is to rain.
CASSILDA: Indeed. Sounded upon Lake Hali.
CAMILLA: Indeed.
CAMILLA: A stranger approaches.
CASSILDA: Oh?
CAMILLA: Indeed.
CAMILLA unmasks.
CASSILDA: My, you unmask!?
CAMILLA: Indeed. Gaze upon it, sister.
CASSILDA: Nay. It is not yet the time.
CAMILLA Masks.
CAMILLA: So be it. Indeed.
CASSILDA: Indeed.
Exeunt CAMILLA and CASSILDA.
It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living god, indeed. An empty stage endlessly waiting for a cast that will never emerge. The blinded would rather spend their days staring into a sunless, silent sky.
"The luminous one, whose drifting mantle flows over the drowsy silver lake and whose pallid mask reflects all that is to be seen."
