I own a bunch of 1st gen. It sure if it’s first gen but I bought it when Google hasn’t took over or bought the nest company yet. It’s working and when video scrubbing live the view is always sharp and crisp. With Google home app their new nest product changing wifi password is a hassle for the new camera. Not sure how they have not figure it out yet. Video scrubbing is always blurry…. Anyways there is pros and cons as always.

Who still has the good old classic nest cam and swapped to the 3rd gen. How you feel about it.

Because I am close to return it. I bought 3rd gen for on sale price $99 and I have being using it for less than a month. Couple weeks. Yes it’s 2k yes it’s wider field of view. But the whole Google home experience is the same bs. With the new camera 3rd gen I didn’t really have wow exciting feeling. It’s like a oh ok feeling.

Anyways not sure how long till Google decide to stop supporting the good old classic nest cam. It’s being wonderful

I mean I get it. If it ain’t broke don’t change it. But the 3rd gen don’t feel like a big wow factor to me. And the whole AI thing is useless. The really miss the whole point is the viewing experience and Google home hasn’t made it right yet. I don’t know……

Love both headphone. Huge Sony fan here. Have its speaker, tv, camera, lens, professional stuff and all kind of Sony stuff except their mother. With that being said. Sound is personal. With this beautiful 1000x collection. Compare with AirPods Max lightning and usb c first gen. I would say I love both looks of AirPods Max and Sony x1000. Personal sound quality wise I don’t eq and don’t care for them. I love the headphone original sound the way it is. I hated when an headphone advertise eq boosting bass or sub bass but in reality they lower treble and mids. Anyways I also own xm6 too lazy to include in this photo.

Quality feeling AirPods Max. Feels cold and metallic, heavy and sturdy. Fits tight perfect for my head. X1000 and xm6 are loose and comfortable at same time. But I can’t tilt my head forward or else it will drop into the toilet when I check how my crap looks like after taking a dump. Sound personally I love xm6 and AirPods Max lightning and usb c first gen. Sub bass and bass hits hard. Vocals and mids. Again AirPods Max and xm6, xm6 feels more forward. Treble I feel 1000x is too dark to my taste. I mess with eq even tho I hate doing so. It doesn’t gets better.

Convenience and accuracy is 100% AirPods Max just because I use Apple Music. Got free 1 year subscription I mean why not. Battery? Don’t give a f. The x1000 definitely feels way premium compared to to xm6, white looks gorgeous in my opinion. ANC feels the same as xm6 and so is transparency. Can’t really tell the difference. But anc on AirPods Max and transparency still wins.

Which one would I pick. Hmm hard choice. I picked both. I am a big Sony fan. With my placebo mind I would make it sound better in my brain.

Would I go for sennheiser hdb630 momentum 4 and 5? No I already have hd800s and hd 820 with hdv820. I don’t care to keep supporting them. Those are the best unique looking headphone in my opinion. The momentum’s looks boring, cheaped out and sad. Their audiophile tuning isn’t my audiophile liking anyways. All in all Apple and Sony is a bigger brand. Bose? Naaaa nothing special about it, jbl? Naaaa, HIFIMAN? Amazing. Audeze? Naaa too dark and poo quality.

All this is personal opinion. Feel free to attack my opinion. I mean what gives? Buy what you like not what others like.

Focal azurys is an amazing headphone too

So for people who owns the x1000, love it and enjoy it. People who are still thinking? It’s worth it to give it a try. I might not like the sound doesn’t mean you won’t. Which one should you pick? Your money your problem just make sure you are happy.

Just got this, I don’t wanna open it. Something is wrong with me. The white one looks so beautiful in the picture. I am going to get a black one to use it. Keep white sealed until death do us apart

Rented the house to tenants and as you know we as home owner never wins. I bought this new cheap from Home Depot for years. Tenants just left and upon inspecting only 1 works and then other 3 seems to be retired. Should I repair this or change to a brand new one? Is this even repairable.
