Why do I burst into tears during lectures?
So I’m 20 year old male and I’ve had this issue as long as I can remember. if there’s any kind of lecture or stressful discussion with my parents I will just burst into to tears, it pisses them off to no end km not really sure why it happens. usually I’m not even particularly sad when it happens (usually it turns into me being sad for feeling like a crybaby or pissing off my parents more than they were already). I just don’t really know why it happens or what to do cause my parents view it as me being over sensitive or faking it for attention or trying to get out of the conversation. and even if I manage to hold it together for the conversation I usually break down as soon as I’m alone, which unfortunately isn’t too often cause these lectures usually turn into several hours of whatever they can think of and then I’ll forget most of everything they said because of the sheer amount of information, the length, and the fact that I’m usually bawling my eyes out. is there a reason for this? Or is there a fix?
